Hey, I checked out your story, "Keepin' Me Awake," and I'm totally into it! The way you tackled those three core themes is just awesome. Writing stuff like that is seriously not easy, so I was wondering if you could share some tips or even do a tutorial on how you pulled it off?

If it's not too much trouble, could you share a tutorial on how you approached and developed the story? Thank you for creating such an inspiring piece!

hmmm its not a tutorial but i enjoy watching schnee's videos!! hes a youtuber and does fiction analysis ૮Ꮚ ⑅ ´ ˘ ` Ꮚა. he doesnt really talk about writing in itself as a practice, but more so about the process of building a story and character-focused plots ☆૮꒰ˊᗜˋ* ꒱ა i watched his videos on arcane a long time ago, and although i dont really directly apply the lessons and tactics he talks about, they were really eye-opening and shifted my view on storytelling ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

as for wukong's character hhrrrmmmm i dunno! i guess a tip would be... try to think of him as vulnerable person? pull away from the titles and tropes he's labelled with and think about how you would act and respond emotionally in his situation first, and then trickle the labels back into his character and consider how they effect him... something like that ¯\_(- > -)_/¯ i dont really think about it linearly and its all just a messy entanglement in my brain, so its difficult to explain the process, sorry!! (ง ˃ ³ ˂)ว ⁼³₌₃⁼³

The pair turned to stare back at each other, mentor and mentee seemingly arriving at the same realization at the same time.

“Oh shit.”

A giddy, high-pitched cackle rang through the treasure room. What seemed to be a baby version of the Monkey King found the situation very amusing for some reason, clapping his hands in glee as the real Monkey King glared at it, mouth twisted in horror.

It was quiet but from the way Subodhi stared at him with intent, he was sure the old geezer caught it from the shape of his lips. Then, he hit the ground and the world went dark.
