The statement by so many saying that the world has caught up to the uswnt really bugs me. Because that is what these women have been fighting for since the start. To show the world that women can play this game with passion, grit, and love. That they can get knock down and have their head cut open, staple it shut and get back on the field and score a header. It's not that these players didn't know the world was catching up, they knew, it was the US Federation that chose not to listen to these women players. It's the US Federation/country that didn't see the world catching up.

It's crushing not to see the uswnt make it to the final but these ladies played with their heart and put all their effort into these games. All these women love this game and put everything into playing it for their club and country. The USWNT has won 4 World Cups, you can't win them all. I hope they are able to re-evaluate for the Olympics and come back looking stronger. For all the other badass women teams still in this game, good luck to you.

Seems like some people are confused about the new offsides rule, 2nd goal counts. Seems no matter how these ladies win people always got a problem 🙄

Edit: so watching the Japan and Zambia game this rule hasn't gone into effect. Saw an article saying it did and couldn't find anything saying that it hadn't. But after watching the highlights it's the defenders heel that actually keeps her onsides. Didn't know that when watching live because it was in Spanish and... I don't speak Spanish lol. Either way Sophie kicked ass and that's her goal. People got problems talk to Fifa don't attack the players when it's a fair play

Something I thought about today, Willow is the only reason Elora is alive. His love and his family's love to take in a baby is what started all of this. Willow was determined to find a safe home for Elora and in that journey and his love for her got others to love her too. In the beginning of the movie no one wants to take baby Elora. Of course Willow does end up letting Madmartigan take her but he lets her get taken by brownies and Willow ends up fighting to get her back. It's Willow who caused the character change in Madmartigan and Sorsha otherwise those two would have continued on the way they were. The series emphasizes the power of love and any type of love too. So I feel like knowing that it all started with Willow and his love for Elora is so important. If we get another season I hope they acknowledge it in someway and also showing how great a Sorcerer Willow has become and Sorsha tell him that.

As someone who grew up watching really cheesy and sweet shows, like Stargate SG-1 and Farscape, I have a very soft spot for modern day cheesy SF and Fantasy, highly digestible and rewatchable television. Willow (2022) is an absolute triumph! It’s so sweet and fun, but it also uses all of the tropes and known paths of classic fairytales and lore, which make it so very satisfying. I get it if it’s not your bag, but saying the show is bad and review bombing it is so clearly done with a secondary agenda in mind and it’s not fooling anyone. *cough* racism *cough* sexism *ahem* homophobia *passes out from choking*

I am hopeful that we get more of this show, three seasons would be lovely! There’s more than enough world to give us a lot more story, I’d love to stay and play. But if we don’t, I am happy for the small gift we got of this show. A fairly self contained season, with wonderful character archs and beautiful visuals. I haven’t had this sort of warm feeling over a show since Wynona Earp. Come on Disney! Just a bit more.

I love they way their story was told and it didn't need to be over the top just two people being in love. After watching Willow today after not seeing it since I was a kid. I would say Kit and Jade's love story is better than Kit's parents 😄.
