Raines version of Max Steel ( from their phunny rewrite/reboot thingy.. )
The suit is basically a mech suit ( which explain why Max is much taller than his civilian form)
dudes got heterochromia
Max is 15 in this rewrite but as his character develops so does his age ( will be 17 at the end of the story)
Steel’s halo (?) can turn into a weapon for the base suit
all ultra links in the rewrite all have halos ( in some way or form)
very very Kamen rider inspired

Visible Mending
Introduction:
Visible mending is a decorative way to fix up an item. Instead of trying to make your mend as invisible as possible, the idea is to make it part of the garment's design.
Visual mending is not a single technique: it's more of a mindset. If you've got an item you love, it deserves to be mended, and if you're going to put that love into stitches, why not show them off?
That being said, there are some specific techniques that are popular with visible menders. Let's take a look!
Sashiko:
Sashiko is a type of traditional Japanese embroidery that is used to both decorate and reinforce fabric. In visible mending, sashiko is often used to cover up holes with patches or to reinforce thinning fabric. This technique uses a variation on the running stitch.

Some resources on sashiko:

Embroidery:
Regular embroidery is also a popular technique to accentuate your mends. Check out my embroidery 101 post to learn how to get started. You can embroider patches, or use embroidery to hide or accentuate any stitches you've made to fix holes. Embroidery's also a great way to cover up stains.

Patches:
There are many ways to add patches to a garment. My tutorial on patches is a good place to start if you want to make custom-shaped patches to sew on top of your fabric. You can also sew your patch on the inside of your garment and have it peek out from beneath the hole you're trying to fix. Fun ideas for this are lace or superheroes.

Darning:
Darning is a technique used to repair holes in fabric by using running stitches to weave extra fabric over the hole as to fill it up again. While traditionally darning is done in an invisible way by using the same colour of thread as your fabric, you can also use contrasting colours to accentuate your fix. Check out this written tutorial on darning by TheSpruceCrafts.

Conclusion:
Visible mending is a creative way to fix up your clothes and give them some personality at the same time.
You should be proud of the fact that you took the time and learned the necessary skills needed to mend your clothes! Show off what you did!
A fun side effect of wearing these obvious mends is that people will notice them. They'll remember your fixes the next time they're faced with a hole in their wardrobe, and it will make them more likely to try it for themselves.
These are just a few ways to visibly mend your garments. Want more inspiration? Check out Pinterest or r/Visiblemending on Reddit.

So @bigfatbreak has been blessing us with top tier content for the feralnette AU and especially some of the Blasphemous are just *chef's kiss* out of 10 so I'm just gonna write down my idea for one before I forget it
The Miraculous is a beautiful comb, meant to be worn with a dress inspired by Queen Bee. Such is the curse of the creative mind, that even something that has brought you so much pain will not let you forget its inspiration. And even more pain, when Marinette pokes her finger while making the comb, and a single drop of blood falls onto the glittering material.
Marinette breaks down with the memories of losing her allies and having trauma and responsibility piled upon her. Why is she the only one who has to suffer this much? Why does she have to endure all this pain?
Someone else should share her pain.
Pidaa - Kwami of Agony
(oh boy I wish I wasn't shit at drawing)
Tumblr media
Pidaa looks a bit like her sibling Pollen, but she is slightly bigger, the black markings are more prominent and with more sharp points and edges, and the eyes are red and full of suffering. She keeps to herself, shuts herself off, and most of the other Kwami don't bother her. Pollen tries to be there for her though.
The newly created Hornet Blasphemous of Agony is a comb in the shape of beautifully detailed golden bee wings, with a red gemstone on the left side. There is a drop of red on the backside of the comb.
Tumblr media
Like the Bee, the Hornet uses a top in battle. Their special ability, Toxin, turns the top into a one use stinger around the user's hand. Hitting a creature with the stinger causes debilitating pain throughout their body that can only be lessened by magical means.
The first time Pidaa sees action is against an akumatized Audrey Bourgeois. At first Chloe thinks the offer is a phenomenally tactless joke, but once she is convinced that Ladybug is serious she accepts the calling nonetheless. There is no fanfare, no arrogance, no posturing in the new hero. The few onlookers that haven't yet fled the brutal fight see a black and yellow hero enter the scene and take down the akuma with brutal determination and efficiency before leaving the cleanup to the regulars.
After the fight, Chloe tells Ladybug to never ask her to use Pidaa again.
Chloe begins to understand what kind of traumatic experience Marinette must have lived through to do a personality flip like that.

I'm actually in the process of making a irl shop specifically for mending clothing and recycling cloth that's unreparable.
Resources for Mending Clothes
Tumblr media
We toss out over 80 pounds of textiles each year. These textiles are often made of plastic materials (polyester, nylon), made in unethical conditions, dyed with harsh dyes that often get put into the rivers, etc. Even a single cotton shirt releases carbon emissions and uses tons of water.
So the best thing to prevent the unsustainable growth of the fashion industry is to make sure that your clothing lasts as long as possible. To do so, mending clothing is a must. So here are some resources to help you learn how to do various things, such as sewing a button, to tailoring clothes, or even upcycling old clothing into new styles.
* How to sew on three different types of button
* How to hand sew on a patch on a torn pair of jeans
* How to sew up a hole in an old shirt
* How to sew a simple T-shirt
* How to upcycle old clothing into new clothing
* More upcycle and sewing techniques
* How to repair a damaged sock
* How to do an invisible stitch
* 3 different stitches to work with for different results
* How to make a T-shirt smaller so it fits you better
* How to make repairs to your shoes
These are just a few of the things that you can do in order to make sure that your clothing lasts for a long time. Nobody wants to keep buying new clothing, as it is expensive and wasteful.
So making alterations to your clothing, or fixing small holes hen you see them can be hugely beneficial to your wallet, to garment workers, and to the environment in the long term.

Once my friend Henry was accused of wearing wireless headphones by a substitute so she said for him to hand them over so he took them off and handed them to her. Then later on she asked him a question and he didn’t respond so she said it louder and he still didn’t respond. She asked why he was not responding and he said “I can’t understand you ma'am, you took my hearing aids.”

I'm curious. Reblog this if you know how to cook
I don’t even care if it’s macaroni, ramen or those little bowls you stick in the microwave. Please, I need reassurance that most of the population on tumblr WOULDN’T STARVE TO DEATH if their parents couldn’t fix them food or they couldn’t go out to eat.

One day a priest prayed for a prophet and was answered by God. “I have sent thousands of prophets. They are among the writers, philosophers, activists, and scientists. Yet you have condemned them as heretics and silenced them in one form or another. Why should I send more to be ignored?”

Okay fanfic writers and original story writers, I want us to come together and play a game if you wouldn’t mind joining in.
Go to wherever you write or post your stories. Number your stories. Put it in a random number generator. Reread a section of that story in whatever way you see fit (example: if it’s chaptered do another random number generator). You can also just cherry pick a story if you want to talk about a specific one instead of randomizing it. It doesn’t really matter either way!
Once you do that, come back here and reblog with your answer! Here are the questions:
What are your favorite things about it? What are things you wish people would notice/point out? Is there a quote or a description in this section of your writing that you really like?
This is your full permission to gush about your writing and talk about your thought process behind it. I want to see happy writers right now! Feel free to also link the story if you post it anywhere <33
