It's funny to compare Hades 1 and 2 because Melinoe is expected to save both Underworld and Olympus, avenge several families and stop Time itself while Zagreus was tasked with like... getting a job.

some thoughts on possible achilles and patroclus characters in hades ii

my headcanons in brief: patroclus is chill, cold-headed man, who feel fine with all nightmares&despairs of hades ii, but deep down inside it is stressful for him

he smokes a pipe most of times and try to help those in need with advices and warnings

about achilles… he isn’t used to feel powerless and worthless at all

i think, at the beginning patroclus’ cautiousness (“do not this, do not that”) made achilles more despair than he could handle. so, he is a hothead in this duet 😁 it might turn out well if nemesis takes achilles under her protection and gives more tasks requiring actions

but, some work on stable relationship is totally necessary for them 😏
