Working on virgy and im getting some ideas how his spider atributes work

I like to think that his spider legs move purely on reflexes and defense, so if virgil is having a panic attack or just is being completly paranoid, anyone coming even a slightly bit closer will probably get attacked by the spider legs (virgil isn't exactly controlling them either, think of it as doing something out of impulse without noticing) does this make sense?

Fangs and the extra eyes can show up at different times compared to the spider legs, the spider legs only show up at full paranoia/panic attack. The eyes and fangs can show up when he is very angry (and also along with the spider legs too)

Also all the dark sides have pointy ears (or every side that generally showed their animal attribute like patton) remus has a high pointy ears, janus will have a midway pointy ears, and virgil has droopy ears (patton's ears will be a round pointy and not as prominant like the dark sides)

Its all very messy but i will polish out what i mean once i actually focus on each of the sides animal abilities :D

(yes i traces a bit, but its mostly to memorize the hair and try to keep the face consistant too)

I got an ask from someone who felt timid about drawing curlier hair and wanted some advice! This is by NO means exhaustive and is mostly just my thought process for my own stylization. There are tons of resources for drawing more textured hair, so for this I just wanted to focus on curls. hope it helps!

When I first signed up for electrolysis, the clinic owner told me her whole staff is trans. Cool. I assumed that meant trans femmes, since we're the ones who usually need the facial hair removal, so it only makes sense that some of us will go into the business.

Nope! My electrolysis tech is a trans man with a full beard. Huh.

Ok so it's canon that Klavier mentally age regresses around Kristoph. It obviously wasn't the writers entire intent, but it is the type of abuse Kristoph uses on Klavier in this context. I know because I am a victim of it as well.

You see him shrink in on himself when he panics about something - he hits walls with his fists like a frustrated child and holds his head. He even starts begging.

When he was 17 he immediately jumped to his age as his defense when he realized oh no, I messed up, this isn't what Kristoph wanted me to say. I need to fix this or else. You see him going quiet any time Kristoph throws a backhanded comment during the misham case - oh, older brother is talking, time for me to be quiet.

The panic and silence from Klavier's end is involuntary, because he tries to bite back and he hates how he's feeling. You see him have a panic attack when he realizes that everything he knew was a lie.

I think the most tragic part is that Kristoph knows it only takes one degrading comment like that to get Klavier to stop talking, and regress back to feeling small and powerless. Klavier only breaks out of it because Apollo is there to ground him. Kristoph calls it control that Klavier is spiraling out of, and it is, but more specifically he's using trigger terms that sound simply rude around others, but they are heavy enough to knock Klavier down immediately. Because Klavier has had these threats and comments weighing him down gradually throughout his entire life. And now, during his weakest and most vulnerable moment, they've never hit him harder.

We've seen how these comments affected Apollo's self esteem. Imagine what Klavier had to deal with all of his life. He's stuck in a loop of being that younger brother forever - he never had a chance to grow up. He knows he can't live up to Kristoph, and puts a mask on to be the adult rockstar. What's underneath it all?

A scared teenager.

Why do people need subtitles to watch a show in English? I don't get it. What is wrong with the ears of young people?

At some point in your life, you were taught that being slightly annoying is an unforgivable sin. Maybe it was by your parents or a teacher or a friend or a bully or an older sibling. But someone taught you that being slightly annoying is a crime punishable by death.

You must unlearn this.

You must accept that all people will be annoying at some point or another in their lives, maybe all of their lives, and that this is okay. It is okay for strangers on the bus, it is okay for children in the grocery store, it is okay for people on social media, and it is okay for you.

If you ever want to truly love your fellow humans, if you ever want to truly love yourself, you must have forgiveness for being annoying.
