dare i ask... what is the steve patrick lore 👀 i am v curious to know how him and nolan are following the same footsteps and all that!
steve’s dad (nolan’s grandfather) played for the winnipeg blue bombers for thirteen years, then became a successful politican in manitoba, then started his own real estate business that still exists now. insane to live up to but his eldest son (steve) tried by being really good at hockey. he played for brandon like nolan would. and got drafted in the first round like nolan would. his dad’s sabres jersey (the team steve played) is the only jersey nolan’s ever owned that wasn’t his own. steve suffered a lotttt of injuries during his nhl career, same as nolan. supposedly a lot of them were head injuries. he officially stopped playing nhl hockey at twenty-five, like nolan, though he never officially retired, like nolan hasn’t. his brother (nolan’s uncle, also played/coached in the nhl) has said in interviews that steve never talked about why he quit but that it had a huge effect on him. he took over his dad’s real estate business, like i assume nolan will at some point. he seems to spend most of his time hunting and yelling on twitter, like nolan does. at one point nolan will have a son and he will play for brandon and the cycle will continue god bless
