I still dream about you all the time, and whether the dream itself is good or bad, I awaken overflowing with sadness.

I think back to where we started, to how incredibly beautiful it was before I fucked it all up, so full of promise, like a good book you are certain was created with the happy ending in mind, as if the whole reason it was written in the first place was to allow the reader to experience joy.

That was us, that was why we were thrust into each other's lives, we were supposed to have that fairytale, and now, all we have left are these damn dreams,

the lost years,

and the tears.

pray a lot!! pray for everything, even/especially if it seems silly or impossible or ridiculous and you can barely voice it. pray for the little things and the big things and everything in between. keep that connection between you and God open all day, every day. pray and then watch how tiny miracles fill your life.

look, tomorrow you will wake up and feel a bit better, a bit calmer. you are going to figure things out eventually, it dosnt have to all be done tonight. take a deep breath, relax your shoulders, and get some rest. you will manage.

You and I have very little time left on this earth and the time to decide what it will mean is now. We can either just let these days pass us by or decide that we will make each day a mission to do our very best at everything. We push ourselves until we can’t push anymore. That will be our way to show Allah gratitude for what He’s given us. That we make the most of His blessings on us. No more paralysis from regret. Humans will have plenty of that after they are under the ground. While we are alive, let’s look ahead and strive instead of keeping our eyes on the past and losing out on the most priceless gift He has give us; now!
