The whole situation sucks. She knew the city was crazy but she never expected it to be this crazy. It pissed her off and also giving her a major headache. Ah, she just wants to go back to her room and sleep everything off, hoping it was just a dream but no. Everything was real, nothing was a fake. Severa has not yet met up with her other self, but she was worried for various reasons. Selfish reasons. What if her other self was more..honest and secrets that should not be said were going to be revealed. 

It wasn’t like Severa had an important reputation to protect, heck she doesn’t even care if others spoke ill about her, it was just that her own ego needs to be protected. It was because of that known fact, Severa couldn’t stay up and has to go running around in the city, hoping to find her other self just to shut her up. There were many different scenarios going through her head, what if her other self was more honest or what if she decided to side with Grima. There were so many thoughts rushing through her mind but Severa doesn’t let it bog her down. 

“...I still have a job to do.” This was no time for her to be sitting down and thinking of possibilities, it wasn’t like her. Action speak louder than words. Pushing off the railing that she was sitting on, Severa walked down the street and as she was turning around in the corner, she literally ran straight into somebody’s chest. “..Ow....” Stumbling over, Severa held her face. “Hey, watch where you’re going.”

“Well...don’t think of it as weird, probably take it as a compliment. I mean, chances of you being called an older brother won’t happen again.” Severa honestly wouldn’t know, but if she was an proper adult, she wouldn’t mind looking like somebody’s older sister. It would make her feel good about herself. Look forever young, stuff like that.  Because once you start looking old, you can’t turn back to looking young. Hence the woes of adulthood and life itself.

“Six months?! I guess you really are trapped here.” That type of information wasn’t something Severa wasn’t hoping to hear but when does she ever get happy news? 

“Well I guess there’s no point in me trying to resist against this city since it looks like everybody else doesn't have any sort of luck trying to get out.” A sad defeat for Severa, but she supposed there’s little she could do at this point. After all, she has no such power. Only a wooden sword by her side. 

Oh, right. Their age gap wasn’t that big, it’d be much more logical for outsiders to assume that he was her older brother, not Severa’s father. Not that Stahl minded much, though. Whenever Stahl did not mind, Severa would. It’d be best to not push this any further and finally let her down, as much as the cavalier would’ve loved to continue the display of affection. It’s been so long, after all! 

   “Granted, it would be a bit weird if someone was to call me your older brother.” 

Stahl stopped himself from talking too much about Cordelia, not wishing to upset Severa any further. It did sting a little to see her react so coldly, however he also understood where his daughter’s reaction was coming from. Though he wished there was no scource for these kind of feelings at all, so they’d all get along nicely. Stahl was naive to hope that the distance and time that was brought between them soothed her heart. Probably - he realized - the opposite was the case, seeing how she was left yet again. 

Stahl held back a sigh, disappointed with himself. ”Yes, but not only her. Most of the other Sheperds have come to this place as well. As for how long I’ve been here…” How long indeed. “Five months I believe. Maybe even six. Time sure does pass by fast these days.”

“Hey, this is your responsibility! Don’t dupe me into this, Morgan.” But with that look on his face, Severa knew she had no escape. She could run away but she knows it would bite her if she tried anything funny. Pressing her lips together, the girl finally released a sigh before crossing her arms to think. She hasn’t arrived in this city not too long therefore by default, she had no idea what her surroundings are. 

“Then...how about that one sector with all of those fancy ruins?” Really going Indiana Jones style here. “You like history, therefore it’s the perfect place for you and it would give the castle the creepy vibe that is deserves!”

“I told you to come at me first, idiot!” 

Why can’t these idiots just do what Severa tells them to do. Their life and her life would be so much easier. Really, just why can’t they listen to her? Knowing that she was getting riled up but for what reason? Just past issues that she thought she got over. Guess she was still a little traumatized. But right now she needs to focused on Sho since he’s getting ready to charge at her. It’s been a long time since she actually been in a spar with an actual person or better yet, an actual fight. It really has been too long. 

I better not be getting rusted. 

Severa thought rather bitterly to herself but she pushed all of her thinking out of her head and allowed her mind to focus on fighting. He gave her a fair warning about his blades, something that Severa was going to keep herself aware of. Getting hurt was natural, it was a fight, but allowing herself be on the defensive is not her style. Bringing her own sword up, Severa gritted her teeth as she could feel the weight of his swords. As expected from a guy, his hits are going to be much more heavier when compared to her. 

However, he was naive to think that he could beat her that easily. She was no knight like her mother, but from the day she was born, fighting and training only came natural to her. There was absolutely no way she could lose. Her pride would never allow it. 

“That better not be the best you could do, Sho.” 

Adjusting her footing, Severa adjusted herself and pushes Sho off with her own weapon, giving them distance. This stick that the scientist gave to her really wasn’t going to cut it out in this fight. Severa knows that well and so does Sho, so there’s really only one thing to do. 

Steal one of Sho’s swords. It was really such a simple solution but a difficult task. She can’t be like Gaius. It wasn’t going to be like stealing candy from a baby.

“I don’t want to see pretty footwork, Sho.”

He noticed her interest at the mention of guns. It was safe to figure that she didn’t really know much about this world - which was a sentiment he could get behind considering he knew so little about it himself - so, a lot of this would go over her head probably. Keep it simple, keep it on track.

“We’ll talk about guns later, don’t worry about it.”

Oh she seemed peeved at him. He had not a single clue why she was suddenly so pissed with him, but in all honestly, he really didn’t care either. It meant that she wasn’t going to ease up on him out of fear. If anything, he should probably be worried that she was gonna be so pissed, he could be in danger. Should be. He had no intentions of doing so.

“Hah! Come at me then!”

His blades rang out shrilly as they scraped through the air. Drawing a few steps away to give them a little distance, he started pacing around her, watching as she did the same. She was taught well it seemed, and by a proper teacher too. However, the real question was whether or not she could face someone with an orthodox style like him, and he was going to put that to the test. Racing forward, he spun through the air, blades singing through the air before slamming both blades downward on her head.

"Right? Lucina is such a spoilsport when it comes to these things.” But that’s why they’re friends because they are similar or at least that’s what Severa thought. Regardless of the fact that they are friends, the real issue is that both Morgan and Severa knows that Lucina would never let something ridiculous happen. Especially when it’s involving her precious little brother yet Severa was very sure that Morgan already brought himself enough trouble to give Lucina a nagging personality. 

At the very least, Severa could at least make sure that Morgan would be alright when they get started on this little project of theirs. To Severa, this seems like nothing but a small thing but to Morgan it was a challenge to surpass the mother that he loves oh so dearly. 

“I can’t tell if I should be worried that you get along with them..” Well it was Morgan, he can get along with just about everybody. The little sunshine boy. “Well like any castle, we need to pick up a location. You got a place in mind where you want to put your castle?”

Good terms? Her lips tugged down in a frown yet again. They just met and already he considered them to be on good terms? He gotta to be out of his mind obviously. Gods, Sho was making Severa feel even more irritated for some reason. Well perhaps better him than Indigo if she was going to deal with morons. 

“Gun..?” She stopped herself from asking anymore questions further, she’ll find out the advance technology that people use later. It was unavoidable after all if she were to survive all of this. Though the fit comment threw her off a bit. Her face became slightly red as her eye twitched. There was a mixed of embarrassment and anger in her expression. Severa honestly didn’t know how to take that comment. 

Ah yes, anger. Severa was going to choose anger as her emotion of the day simply because Sho was using all of these idiotic words towards her. 

“That does it. I made my decision. I am going to beat your face up with this damn wooden sword if it’s the last thing I do.” Severa declared at the red head idiot as she waved the wooden sword at him. She doesn’t care if she gets hurt, it was a fight. Getting hurt was natural however Sevara’s focus was simply getting a good hit on Sho’s face. 

“Come, you cocky moron!”

:I’ll do whatever the hell I want! I don’t usually get to fight with people on good terms!”

The smile on his faced seemed to be unbreakable, the inverse to her rather potent frown. Despite his grumpy partner, he was enjoying himself, and it would take quite a bit before she could manage to dampen his mood. In any case, pouting or not, she went along with it. He gave her a shrug at her question, thinking it to be somewhat stupid, but humoring her regardless.

“I dunno. People use a lot of different shit. Like I mostly use swords, but then I also throw knives, and I even have a gun too, but I don’t like that too much so I avoid it. You could easily switch between a sword and something else. You’re definitely fit enough for it.”

It wasn’t aimed to be a compliment rather than just stating a fact. His teeth were bared in a grin at the mention of swordplay. So they were gonna play on his terms too? Perfect! Unsheathing his duals blades with a bit of flourish, he flipped them in his grasp.

“Sword, eh? Sweet! Then it’s a sword fight then! Don’t worry, I’ll use the dull sides. Just watch out for the ends near the hilt! It’s serrated, and that’ll sting no matter what I do!”

Encouraging words?! Now he was really misunderstanding her but the red head could only heave a sigh out pass her lips. Well whatever makes him happy she supposed. “What are you talking about? Everybody encourages you on a daily basis, you gotta be draft to not notice that.” Not like that mattered to her or anything. 

“Now, a castle isn’t going to be built by itself, we need to gather people that know how to build a castle as well as traps.” Or better yet. “Do you think if we make a request to those scientist bunch, they will build us a booby trap castle?” Their sense of humor was already bad enough as it was but it seem possible that they will be able to do something like this for Morgan if there was something in it for them. Like seeing their precious citizen scream because of this trap. 

“Oh yeah, we should probably keep this castle business away from Lucina.”
