The Pandemic
I don’t know how long it’s been. I’ve been in Dubai now for a little more than a month. It’s dad’s birthday this weekend so I baked a cake today with icing and everything like I always wanted to. I also made the usual pizza yesterday. Haven’t done much since I got here. It started out okay with a coffee routine and a bit of GRE but I started slacking off once I reached the essay writing section. I need to get a little serious with the schedule. I made a CV also recently which I’m a little happy about.
Last week I went to the gun range in Sharjah and fired 20 shots of a 9mm pistol made in the Czech Republic.

An Invocation for Beginings
Once I stumbled across a video on YouTube with a similar title.
It’s by ZeFrank.
He has given a couple of ted talks, made vlogging about topics other than personal life popular and has a great voice and sense of humor.
It was like a self help video telling you (the way he tells himself i think) to start whatever it is that you’ve been putting off.
So this is it.
