Imagine: Fox has Force-given plot armor, basically nothing is able to kill him.

Palpatine tries to lightning him at point blank and it... Just doesn't work. Fox gives him a tired look and finishes his report.

Palpatine tries to chop him with his lightsabers but they just go out as soon as they get close to Fox and Fox sighs deeply and explains that he can't die. That when he was a cadet he saved a aiwha and it turned into some green force goddess chick who blessed him and ever since no one can harm him. He's jumped from the top of Tipoca city, sat at the bottom of Kamino's ocean, left a ship while in space and walked around outside. His brothers have taken to surprise attacking him for the hell of it. Nothing.

Palpatine grins thinking of how great this is having Fox as his servant after all and tries to activate Fox's chip.

Nothing.

Fox sighs again. The Republic is corrupt and even with basic immortality Fox can't just fix it so he just does his job. He's not going to be controlled or whatever. He'll see Palpatine with the usual report tomorrow.

From then on it's just Fox tiredly going about his day while Palpatine tries more and more creative different ways to try to kill him or make him obey him.

Palpatine completely blows off Anakin because he's so obsessed with Fox and Anakin gets all pissy over it and starts trying to kill Fox too.

Thorn and the rest of the Guard find it hilarious and encourage it even joining in sometimes.

Fox: *sitting in the middle of the flaming cafeteria sipping a cup of caff* This is fine.

Y’know one of my favourite tropes? Clones with lightsabers but out of necessity. Rex picking up that laser sword of death as his last effort to defend an unconscious Anakin. Obi-Wan getting blasted across the room, Cody igniting his lightsaber with a look at his General, who just gives him the slowest, solemn nod. Jesse body-tackling Ahsoka out of the way of a blaster bolt and picking up her shoto to deflect the onslaught of fire from droids because it’s the nearest thing he could reach. Wolffe grabbing Plo’s lightsaber and melting his way through near-impenetrable blast doors to rescue him. Bly catching Aayla’s saber in midair to slice a battle droid in half, then tossing it back to her without missing a beat. 

bonus: 

Fox whacking Sheev in the face with his own lightsaber so hard he just kriffin dies.

Day 5: 79's

Fox didn’t usually spend much time in 79’s - it was hard to actually be off-duty when everyone kept looking at you to keep the peace.

This, though… this he would make an exception for.

Echo was practically in his lap, reaching over to steal Fives’ drink for ‘just a sip,’ while Fives tried to save his drink by also pressing against Fox, as though trying to hide between him and the back of the booth. Both of the ARCs were laughing, that easy and bubbling laughter that said they were pleasantly tipsy.

Fox was pretty sure he was tipsy, too, if only because he was laughing along with them.

They were safely ensconced in a back booth, and with the broad-shouldered ARCs to either side of him, Fox was as anonymous as he ever had been in 79’s - he wasn’t the Commander of the Coruscant Guard tonight. He was just another vod tucked away in a dark corner with a partner or two.

“Foooooox,” Echo whined as he fell most of the way into Fox’s lap, still trying to steal Fives’ drink. “Tell Fives to share!”

Fox snorted and patted Echo’s shoulder in a sympathetic manner. “No.”

Echo pouted up at him, doing a fairly good impression of a sad shiny. “But I’ll let him try my drink!”

“I don’t want to try your drink!” Fives declared.

“What’s wrong with my drink?” Echo demanded.

Fives and Echo began arguing across Fox, who leaned further back against the booth and laughed quietly at the two of them. Fives gestured broadly with his glass, almost sloshing the drink over himself, and Fox reached out and swiftly grabbed it, saving them from an unwelcome bath.

Neither Fives or Echo really seemed to notice. 

Fox sniffed at the glass, and found it didn’t smell completely disgusting. He took a sip.

Hm. Not bad.

He set the empty glass down on the table in front of them with a thunk.

Fives blinked at the glass, then turned to Fox. “Wait a tick - did you drink my drink?!”

“Yep.”

“Fox!”

Echo collapsed into helpless giggles, draped fully across Fox’s lap, as Fives gave him a wounded look.

Fox just grinned at him. “I’ll make it up to you later.”

Fives was still frowning, but not as deeply. Echo was grinning like the tooka that caught the porg.

Fox smirked as he ran a hand through Echo’s hair and reached out to reel Fives in for a kiss.

He’d get over it.

We all like us some good Coruscant Guard whump where they’re abused by the Senate and the ppl and their brothers fighting on the front, but can I get epic blackmailer Fox? The guards are treated like furniture by a lot of the senate; imagine all the secrets and scandals they might here!

Really, let Fox blackmail the Senate into giving him and his brothers (even the jackass ones) rights as sentients. And then let him nap

Star Wars really missed out on some golden opportunities by not having Luke--the moisture farmer who never spent a day of his life outside of the driest desert you ever saw-- react to other planets' water.

Luke is on Hoth for a full week before he realizes what snow is. "This is WATER?!" "...yeah." "WE'RE RICH!"

or Yoda senses Luke is on Dagobah and goes looking for him, only to find him thrashing around waist deep in the swamp, frantically filling every container he can find with the nastiest dark brown water imaginable and shoving it into his ship.

Every planet they go to, if Han and Leia turn their back on Luke for a SECOND, he'll just be gone and they'll have to go trudging off to find the nearest pond and without fail there will be Luke, sitting in water up to his neck.

Also, look at the screenshot I managed to get. Look where the hand is. That's the same side as Rex's hand print on Echo's armour. And the hand is blue as well. This is probably all mainly incidental but still.
