meet chimay (cici!) lemonides. she’s almost 24, and still doesn’t know how to change a tire. nor will she ever. because she’s hot. 

a double leo (sun and rising) with an aries moon = an intense showoff demon who stands at only 5′3″. 

the middle child of the lemonides girls. and it shows. discovered that she could do a lot of forward rolls at the age of 3 and was quickly enrolled into gymnastics by her parents to discourage her from Trying This At Home antics.

the lemonides are nouveau riche and definitely sported the title proudly, soaring on the back of malcolm lemonides. the women in their small family outnumbered him 3:1 but it was never a problem to the patriarch. he preferred to let them speak for him, especially his headstrong wife, dawn.

which is why their divorce came to be such a shock to most folks, especially cici, who basically adored her parents’ romance. they were college sweethearts and best friends who realized that after having their beautiful girls, that the romantic spark had essentially blew out. they’re still close as ever even though dawn remarried and malcolm is definitely a Silver Fox™ but i digress - this is about cici amirite.

she was 13 and it definitely skewed her sense of relationships because her parents would unknowingly say things about the other (”jokingly”) in front of the girls. lots of fun dinners where they’d drag the fuck out of each other with a smile and their kids were on e d g e lmao.

when cici was 14, she had her first love (sorry luda, she was a late bloomer) with a boy in her childhood friend group. it was full of angst and absolutely tumultuous. their friends bullied them to stop dating after a year but the two remained “Sneaky Links”... with an occasional sprinkle of cici being an absolute b word to any girl who dared to involve themselves with him.

as Dance Captain of the high school and also being a riche heaux, it was easy for cici to fall into the popular crowd of MW, but she didn’t necessarily care for it. she was a party girl through and through, and she was excellent at talking up parents and authority figures.

which is why when she was involved with the factory fire of June 2019, she spiraled and ditched town for about a year and a half to keep the heat off her, trying to shed any involvement from herself. easier said than done when your whole life is in this goddamn town. of course she’d come back with her tail between her legs. honestly? a part of her wants to see how long she can dance with fire.

Good morning Peaches, hopefully y'all are doing fine & dandy. We’ve gotten so many beautiful words regarding our subplots, and we cannot be anymore excited to share what else we’ve got planned with you! Before we introduce our challenge, to help you out with the visualization of Miriam’s Well and maybe even the kind of character you’d like to make, we’re releasing our neighbourhoods! If you’ve got any questions about anything, feel free to direct them into our ask box.

This here is our dev challenge, easy as pie. We’re asking that you post a small blurb about your character (with or without a graphic, whatever your heart desires, you don’t have to have someone reserved to use them in your gfx if you’ve got someone in mind), or, if you do not want to post a blurb, then something a little bit more substantial than just a graphic, such as a playlist or a detailed graphic or a colorscope of your character’s zodiac! Options are endless.

Here’s the catch, in order to get a second reserve on Half-Moon, we’d like for you to include five different wanted plots/plot hooks for your characters, something with a little bit more meat on it than “random coworker” or a couple of words. A good example would be: “John Jingleheimer-Schmidt needs workers on his peach farm, everyone from running his social media and etsy store, to the physical labour required in up-keeping a peach farm. He’s a terrible boss with an awful temper, but you can eat as many peaches as you’d like.” Five of those, then you’ll automatically be eligible for a second reserve — face or subplot!

We will be opening reserves shortly, with all the details to come! Please keep in mind that here on Half-Moon, we’re only allowing two free characters before we start requirements, and therefore, are only allowing you two reserves.

Hello, angels! We’re so excited to see all of your lovely intros in the tag. To kick things off, we’ll be releasing our subplots and information about our founding families! All of the information is in this Google Doc, and if you have any questions, feel free to hit our ask! 

We’ll be releasing our dev challenge later today, and opening up intro reserves tomorrow (7/17) at 12 pm PST / 3 pm EST / 8 pm GMT. You’ll be able to reserve one face. Subplot reserves will open up later in the week. 

This afternoon, we’ll be releasing information about our dev challenge. If you participate in this, you’ll be up for another reserve (face or subplot). More information on that to come!
