what are your iruka headcanons?

Okay here we go:

He’s Filipino (this is largely in part to my Filipino friend stanning iruka and saying he thought iruka was Filipino which like. Yeah I like That! Make iruka what u want but he sure as heck isn’t white)

The scar on his nose is from someone trying to take out his eyes when he was younger

With this line of thought, I think he has an ocular kekkei genkai that he doesn’t know much about bc his parents died when he was young

I also think that he’s a refugee of uzushiogakure and konoha doesn’t know shit about their kekkei genkais and iruka doesn’t tell anyone he has it bc fuck h*ruzen so he’s really just going with the flow when it comes to it

He met kushina a couple times bc she talked to his parents sometimes about life in uzushio

He’s best friends with anko

He and asuma get together and talk about how shitty h*ruzen was (don’t even get me started on that scene at the cenotaph)

He’s a seals master! J*raiya Who???? We don’t need him!!!

He tells Naruto what he remembers about uzushio and teaches him the dialect

He meets Karin and tells her about uzushio as well. Mito liked iruka. Kids got spunk, can speak her language, and reminds her of her husband. Because of this, tsunade meets iruka and immediately is like “oh my brother now” and acts like an older sister with him

Any of you feeling awkward, remember how i walked down the stairs the other day heading to biology in the most tired mood ever, and because of that, i took a wrong step, i losy ballance and i rolled down AN ENTIRE FUCKING FLIGHT OF STAIRS. Worst part? About 50 kids saw that.
