ppl seem to misinterpret dni's as like a warding spell or a locked door, which wouldnt work to the determined, obviously, as they are physically only words on a screen. ive imagined them instead as like a bloody list tacked on the door with a knife. if youre on the list it means u will simply be blocked if you interact. with the footnote im blocking you only becausw i cant reach out through your screen and maim you with a toothpick
