So recently I’ve been really into the Appalachian life I’ve always been a fan of the music and I’ve been reading a lot about hiking the Appalachian trail so I wanted to do a series of pictures of America spending time in different ways with various nations  in that area or on the trail. This is America and England dancing at a outdoor dance hall to a live band that I was way to lazy to incorporate into this picture.

Quick Messy Doddle inspired by a book I read were the author (a American who lived in Britain for 20 years) was talking about how much more rugged American hiking was compared to his trips in England. Specifically the fact that he had to carry everything with him (He was use to staying hostels/ bed and breakfasts everything and just having to carry some light clothes, toiletries   and his lunch.)

 So I like the idea that when England gets tired of hauling his pack America offers to carry it for him ;)

So I love Henry Knox always have. Basically the beginning of the war the continental  army had little to no artillery. Not that it would help if they did have it. No one really knew how to use it; and there’s Henry Knox a young, tall (he’s like 6 something) over weight, book nerd/former bookstore owner. Who blew off 2 of his fingers in a shotgun accident. (which he hides with a handkerchief) Who never actually used cannons only read about them; and he’s the best chance the army got lol.

More Snatch crossover

So I always miss the holidays to do cute opt pics but not today! 

This is actually a picture I drew for my beach au a while back that I thought to finish.  (For what ever reason it’s always raining in this au  this is not an immediate continuation from my last post of about this AU that picture took place more in the beginning  of the story this is more in the middle.)

I have a head cannon that Alfred has a bit of a obsession with carrying people around especially bridal style and jumps at any chance to do so. And I had the need to doddle it. 

Also the guy at the top right is William Lee Washington’s slave. He hardly ever left Washington’s sided during the Revolution War and was the only one that GW  granted freedom after his death.

Things I really should stop doing: Watching 90′s romance films and substituting these two especially making poor Arthur be the chick all the time lol. It makes even less sense to have these two play Joseph and Shannon because the movie Far and Away is about Irish immigrants but clearly I have a problem.

So for your public au, I kid of headcannon that the nations would lead a lot of museum tours or be guides at historical places because of their significance, but since England is quite reserved and all I imagine him just leading walks down old Roman walls and ruins of old castles and churches and such

I can see that I already have America being a tour guide for the White House so it makes sense that other nations do the same :)
