Came home to find a rather heavy package at the door. When I started to open it, I was puzzled as it wasn't any of the items I was expecting. Often when l get home from work, I like to sit at the piano with a glass of wine, or a Last Word. Today I changed it up, and am having an old classic, the "Attention". 2oz dry gin 0.25oz absinthe 0.25oz dry vermouth 0.25oz creme de violette 2 dashes orange bitters Stir all ingredients on ice. Worried about this girl. Last check up lab work came back that she is now diabetic. She's had a rough day; a visit to the vet, where they instructed me how to do the insulin injections, which need to be done twice a day.
