I loved Bucky Barnes and I love Sebastian Stan but people saying they won’t watch Cap4 if Bucky isn’t in it is such fucking bullshit. First of all Sebastian could be lying and we know how marvel is.

Second of all even if Bucky is in cap4 he will most likely have a very small role in the film. Cap4 is about Sam Wilson and yes Steve’s captain America movies did include a lot of Bucky but this is where I’m sure we are going to see the difference between Steve as cap and Sam as cap. . I don’t think Bucky is going to be Sam’s right hand man like he was Steve’s. I think the “sidekick” role is going to go to Joaquin Torres as it seems like that is what they are setting up.

I hope Bucky doesn’t get killed off because there’s still a lot for them to explore with his character. I think him getting his own solo thing would be interesting and much needed to explore his character or him leading the thunderbolts.

Either way sam Wilson/Anthony mackie is capable to hold his own film as Sebastian Stan himself as stated.

You know something that really pisses me off?

Sam Wilson has an amazing opportunity to be explored as a character. We learn about Riley in CATWS and how he fell out of the sky. Then it happens in front of Sam to Rhodey in CACW! Like please, this is would have been amazing to see Sam’s trauma, to connect to him, for us to understand why he’s with the Avengers and then for us to be amazed that he can come back after seeing Riley fall, seeing Rhodey fall.

I love Sam Wilson so damn much and I will never get over the fact that this specific line of trauma, fear, and recovery was never addressed.

I don’t think Riley is ever even mentioned in FATWS. I just…arghhh…We get this amazing scene with Bucky dealing with his own shit in Wakanda and it was like two minutes and we all remember it bc you can do a lot with a litttle. We should have had a similar moment with Sam too.

I sincerely wish that we could have had mirroring therapy sessions with Sam. Like we see Bucky angry and resisting and upset over things he can’t change. Then we could’ve seen Sam (with an actually amazing therapist) doing the exact opposite.
