A sense of relief washes over her as she sits down. Alex has been the new girl so often that she can usually spot traps from a mile away. Looking around, she can tell this group of outcasts are probably the most interesting people in the room.
“I do, but I’m more into New Wave.” She shrugs, popping a carrot into her mouth. “I do love Ozzy though. He’s sexy.” Looking at the man, she can tell he’s the leader, with a charisma about him that is irresistible. “I’m Alex, by the way. And I promise to listen to more metal if it means I get to sit here every day.”

Um… hi. I just moved to Hawkins and that guy over there. *points to Jason* said I should talk to you. He seems pretty stupid though so he probably misunderstood my question. Anyways, hi. I like your vest.
It didn't take a genius to figure out Jason was probably fucking around with the new kid. Eddie peered up from his campaign notes, a pretzel in one hand. He licked his back teeth as he straightened up and cast a glance over to the basketball team. Maybe it was him they were trying to screw around with. Eddie usually only approached new students who looked super lost, or seemed to be struggling to make any other friends. Usually.
He studied her for a second, then clapped his hands together to dust away any excess salt from his snack.
"Yeah? You into metal?" Eddie leaned back in his chair, more than willing to strike up a conversation about music with the new kid. Jason didn't have to win or succeed this interaction. It wasn't like Eddie bit people... without provocation anyway.

“I wouldn’t mind that at all. There are lots if fun people in New York. Maybe we could meet a model.” Coming over, she sits on his lap. Stroking his hair, she then boops his nose. “You could take some pictures of me. I do like being your model.” Cupping his cheek, she kisses him, a smile on her face. “Some sexy pictures.”

“It’s been nice living in LA, but my heart will always belong to New York.” Looking around, she is happy to be back in her grandmother’s apartment. Going over to him, she sits in his lap. “It will be odd to stay still for so long, but I’m happy to do it with you. Who knows? We might end up staying here.” Laying on his shoulder, she closes her eyes, drinking in the scent of his soap. “I know most of the jobs are in Los Angeles right now, but fashion week is coming up.” (I forgot they already live in new york so I retconned it that they live in LA 😂)

A week later, they go over the photos in the apartment the magazine renter for them. After the successful shoot, they offer Oliver a three month contract. “What do you think? Do you want to give it a go and live here for a few months?“Biting her lips, she thinks living in another city for a few months could be fun.
Looking out the window, she watches the cars go by. “It is very glamorous, and I think we could seduce a few gorgeous people while we’re here.”
