Colourful Bo-Kaap! This colourful neighborhood dates back to the 17th century when slaves were brought from Malaysia, Indonesia and other countries to work in Capetown. The people were known as Cape Malays. These houses were leased to slaves and the rule was to have them coloured white. Eventually the people got to own the houses when the rule ended. Sunset kite surfing! A kite boarder surfs on the waves wishing the wind never settles down. Big Bay is known for kite surfing for the winds here make it a perfect spot for surfers to put their skills to test. It's such a beautiful sight to watch all those kites up in the air with Table Mountain and Lions head in the background however, the winds made me sick. Wonder how those surfers want more and more and more of it. Everything was perfect that evening and it made a beautiful frame to capture. We had just arrived that evening and I wasn't used to the strong winds hence, thought will came back another day to take some pics. The winds were gone and the surfers too. I waited for a week and prayed like those surfers to just give me one more moment with that wind and kite surfers in the frame; it didn't happen though. Moral of the story: Opportunity strikes, it doesn't tell you when and where. If you are there at that moment, go for it no matter what and make it yours!
