🎀 - Some kiddos hate brushing their teeth bc the bristles bother them! Thats ok!! Use a wet cloth with toothpaste on it instead !
🎀 - the seams on socks are a big discomfort!! I recomend buying some that are seamless or even hiking socks!
🎀- loud noises bothering you? I plug my headphones into my phone and just listen to the hum of electricity!! It can help some , though if it doesnt, thats ok too!!
🎀 Do you get itchy skin from certain fabrics? Lather yourself in lotion or coconut butter before you put it on!!
🎀 Need to stim but have to do so discreetly? Try balling and unballing your fist a few times!
🎀 Feeling down? Remember that people love you and care for you. Your sensory issues are not a burden

Some rules for yourself if you don't have a caregiver!!
1. Make sure to drink 2-3 cups of water a day! Maybe add more as you go
2. Eating is very important! Let's try 2 meals and 2 snacks! Maybe more if you want to
3. Always try to be clean, so showering or bathing can be a good idea
4. A clean space can equal a clean mind! So try to straighten up of you can
5. Homework or work can be hard! So try to do little by little. Don't stress yourself, this is not good.

depression tips™
shower. not a bath, a shower. use water as hot or cold as u like. u dont even need to wash. just get in under the water and let it run over you for a while. sit on the floor if you gotta.
moisturize everything. use whatever lotion u like. unscented? dollar store lotion? fancy ass 48 hour lotion that makes u smell like a field of wildflowers? use whatever you want, and use it all over. 
put on clean, comfortable clothes. 
put on ur favorite underwear. cute black lacy panties? those ridiculous boxers u bought last christmas with candy cane hearts on the butt? put em on.
drink cold water. use ice. if u want, add some mint or lemon for an extra boost.
clean something. doesn’t have to be anything big. organize one drawer of ur desk. wash five dirty dishes. do a load of laundry. scrub the bathroom sink. 
blast music. listen to something upbeat and dancey and loud, something that’s got lots of energy. sing to it, dance to it, even if you suck at both.
make food. don’t just grab a granola bar to munch. take the time and make food. even if it’s ramen. add something special to it, like a hard boiled egg or some veggies. prepare food, it tastes way better, and you’ll feel like you accomplished something. 
make something. write a short story or a poem, draw a picture, color a picture, fold origami, crochet or knit, sculpt something out of clay, anything artistic. even if you don’t think you’re good at it.
go outside. take a walk. sit in the grass. look at the clouds. smell flowers. put your hands in the dirt and feel the soil against your skin.
call someone. call a loved one, a friend, a family member, call a chat service if you have no one else to call. talk to a stranger on the street. have a conversation and listen to someone’s voice. if you can’t, text or email or whatever, just have some social interaction with another person. even if you don’t say much, listen to them.
cuddle your pets if you have them/can cuddle them. take pictures of them. talk to them. tell them how u feel, about your favorite movie, a new game coming out.

I think I have autism. I've been looking up things and feel like I relate to a lot of things. I haven't been to the doctors yet
Here's what I found;
Stimming:
-I used to bit my clothes when I was younger when I got nervous
- I used to bite my cheeks
- I chuw on my lip piercing a lot
- I rock side to side a lot
- I stand on the side of my feet sometimes
- I play with the clay at work, like I get nervous and always have it in my hand to help me calm down
- I started to clench my fist and unclench it
- I fiddled with my rings a lot when I'm uncomfortable
( a lot of these I do in an area with a lot of people to help calm myself )
Social problems:
-Selective mutism
At school I was always quiet. I was always nervous to speak up and I was bullied a lot for being shy. I think I mask a lot now to try and hide it but a thing that i think about a lot is if I'm in a car from work with more than one person I feel like I physically cant talk and I dont know what to say.
-Masking
I dunno if I did this a lot when I was younger but at work I'll take on people's habits when they interact with customers. Also when I'm really into something like a band I'll take on little habits that I see in videos.
- small talk
Because I work in customer service I have to interact with customers. I pick up things that the people I work with say when they talk to customers and I'll repeat them, it's like I'll have a script in my head that I'll follow when I have to interact with that customer.
- socialising
Over the years I've been invited to things and I rarely will go. I will make excuses why I cant because I feel this overwhelming pressure about it. It worries me about how things will go or what people will thing of me so I avoid it all together. I have pushed myself a couple of times. I dunno if this will count to this but when I was a little younger i travelled to a different city to meet my favourite band and then after meeting them i thought about the conversation so much and the things that i could have said.
- isolation
I isolated a lot. I dont have friends now so I have a routine of getting up and going to work coming home and diving into my favourite thing to relax.
Executive Function skills
I cant think of a lot for this one. I sometimes go away to concerts and I have to plan the whole thing out. Like I write everything down so I know what to expect and where to be at what time.
Special interests
For the past 3 years I've been obsessed with BTS. I drown in their stuff a lot. I watch them to make me feel happy and bring my mood up. It will be so bad that it's all I want to talk about to people. I think about them all the time
Other interests I've had are Egyptians. I used to watch documentary after documentary about them. I was really interested in tutankhamun and anubis. I drew them on the wall. Brought books about them. Talked about them all the time. Wanted to share facts that I knew about them.
Sensory issues
At work I deal with a lot of noise when we are busy I dont know if this would be classed as this but I get overly irritated and always get a headache. I struggle to focus on the customer that I'm dealing with because of all the noise around me.
On the way to work and outside in general I listen to music to drown out things.
I hate really strong smells as well.
Also I wear this uniform at work and the tshirt is made of this really itchy material and I constantly have to pull it away from my skin. I did try before to wear a vest top under it so it didn't touch and I used to put it on when I got to work so I wouldn't have to deal with it for longer than I have to. I also pull it away for another reason that just the feel but that's not related to this.
