I visit a local gender clinic every now and then due to my detransition. Today the doctor asked me why am I dressed like this if I want to be understood as a woman.

When you have grown up in a violent misogynistic environment where women, including your own mother, were regularly beaten by their husbands, the increasing popularity of BDSM seems particularly disturbing.
