Nevia stared wide eyed at her commander, a bit shocked about this harsh words and the tone, he used usually for his soldiers. “What have I done now?” She had both eyebrows raised and looked at the, far more, taller man before her. “Awol?” Oh, Creators….
A pink hue graces his cheeks at the moment the Inquisitor questions his jargon. He tenses, clearing his throat, apologizing in a subtle manner for the lack of informing her of the terminology. However, he more embarrassed that he has picked up terms that flutter around the barracks of his Templar days; it seems he could never fully wash his hands of that time.
                                  “Absence without Leave, Inquisitor.”

gealbhan-maoir:
A light chuckle escaped Aderyn’s lips as she stood to meet Cullen - acknowledging his greeting with one of her own.
“Good morrow to you, Commander,” The Elvhen woman spoke warmly, crossing her arms and beaming, “Glad to see you’re doing well!”
Being in Haven for no more than a two weeks, it seemed that she was quite comfortable there - in her element, even - having already made herself known with whomever she could, and helping wherever she was needed.
“It’s a bit colder than I expected - but I can’t really argue, can I? It’s not like the Inquisition can control the weather.”
The Warden laughs again - kicking at the fresh snow below as she continued.
“But yes, everything is to my satisfaction - no need to worry about me. If anything, the accommodations were beyond what I expected! The Inquisition is too kind - not that I’m complaining or anything.”
Cullen has heard tales of the Warden’s rambling. Now, that he witnesses it for himself, he is unable to find any other way to express his reaction except for smiling. Thus, he smiles at her, nodding his head every now and then to her softer comments that she has made.
“I am grateful to hear that you find                                    yourself welcomed here in Haven,                                    Warden. The Inquisition is new, yes;                                    however, I believe that in our crusade                                    to rid of the rifts, we shall not forget                                   our gratitude to those who sacrifice                                   everything to join our cause.”
