Between the Pines | Goodbye, Echo Canyon 1.1

the drive from echo canyon to silent pines is about 20 hours give or take. with her brother, miguel at the wheel, ines looked out the window as her home and the orange hues of Ridgewood Canyon faded into the distance. her eyes became to close as she slowly drifted into a day dream as flashes of her childhood and life on the ranch danced in her head...

This took way longer than expected but I'm getting even more attached to this family. If you can't tell, I've posted them more than 5x time and haven't given up and moved on to a new idea.

I really loved recreating each family for different year. Ended up needing to age up David to a child for '98 since the math didn't work for him to be a toddler...but excited to get into more gameplay posts out soon!

round 2 :: sulani :: winter ✔ explore the beach cave ✔ discover buried treasure

mabel got in that cave and saw a bunch of dolphins which then made her sad for some reason and then just kept beach combing as usual until she found her 4th 'heart of sulani'. fun times!

for years i've wanted to build this lot but i knew it would be a tedious process using TOOL and figuring out the math for it. i'll be honest, this took 3 attempts going more than halfway up the tower and bulldozing to start over. both the most difficult and the most rewarding lot i've ever built. while it isn't perfect and sims can't reach the very top, it does have 4 observation decks with telescopes and seating. sims can buy flowers, go for a spin on the carousel, and eat crepes under the shadow of the tower.

Her parents expected her to be a vet like them, but her interests pulled her towards sports and vintage cars/motorcycles. She recently opened her own repair shop and spends her days working out, doing passion projects, extreme sports and traveling. Now that she's satisfied with her career, she wonders if there might be someone special out there for her to build a life and family with.
