Seems like torpedo bombers didn't really do well overall during the war. The success VS loss rate was staggering! Think the String-bags had the best of it early on...

Watched a documentary about these Polish warbirds. Forgot the name, but at one time they were the fastest and best armed fighters in the world! Prewar of course!

Was Admiral Graf Spee and her sister good ideas? I think they were. It's the same idea as the Indefatigable class of the Royal Navy. A cruiser built to hunt and kill cruisers... Commerce raiding was kinda not her real job...

Seems crazy, but just think, every single one of these absolute game changing weapons of war, aircraft, armoured vehicles, even having cannons on ships!!! Were totally unwanted when they were first introduced to the militaries of the world! Why??? I guess the "new tech is too new to rely on in real wars?" I mean, with everything at stake, having a weapon system or force that doesn't deliver, is BAD! So I kinda understand
