DIGITAL INDIA
So before starting this gripping topic, let me tell that I’m still comprehending English grammar and to write a blog, so any grammatical mistake or any error can be disregarded.
I know that to make a blog fascinating, adding picture is common and genuine. But I would like to type this whole blog without appending pictures and without copying any sentence from anywhere as mentioned distinctly in the circular.
Yes, so back to the main topic which is Digital India, I found this topic really interesting and easy for me because I seriously want each and everything to get digitalize by tomorrow. Like I don’t know why but I feel that Digital India can improvise EVERYTHINHG.
When I asked my dad that what are the things that I can cover under this topic, the next 20 minutes I was occupied (no one was dare to appoint me for any work for that 20 minutes). Okay, jokes apart, my dad literally told me a lot of things that can be improvised if our country gets digital. He informed me that once Rajiv Gandhi had said, “Only 15% funds reaches to the needy from the total funds given for them from central government,’’ and that’s because of the mediator of the government and the needy people subtracts their part of the money as a commission. So if this fund gets directly transferred to their bank accounts then corruption can be stopped. I thought on this for a while and for the first time I easily got convinced with my dad because most of the time whatever topic we discuss in the house turns into to a big debate.
One more thing that my dad informed was an incident that occurred 5-6 years back. He once attended a press conference of the governor of RBI who was in Mumbai] from Delhi through a normal video call on a big screen with a bunch of media people. So what he wanted to say that online studies can be improvised more because if this technology was there in 2015 then it should’ve been improvised by this time.
Digitalization has changed the ways and means of social interactions. this has improved the speed of economic growth. gone are the days when people used to wait for fortnight or months to get the news of their distant relatives. that was the time of post cards, inland letters, envelopes and trunk calls. now smart phone has changed the whole scenario. smart phone has made possible to communicate within a fraction of second in any part of the earth. it has made easy to transfer audio, video, pictures and money electronically in less than a second time.
No doubt Digitalization has improvised a lot of things in our life. For example, a lot of us prefer online shopping that’s convenient and easy. You just have to order things and you’ll get it after few days of ordering, which reduces our outdoor activities and pollution while travelling through cabs and cars.
Also there are some disadvantages of digital India. specially children are getting adversally affected by smart phones and social media. cyber crimes has posed new challenges to the law enforcing agencies. cyber criminals are targeting innocent children and blackmailing them. its elders duty to teach children as how to use smart phones and social media. I would suggest that there should be separate chapters in the school curriculam so that children can learn to use these tools and acquaint themselves with changed environment.
By the way let us discuss good things of digitalization again. YOU WILL BE SAFE FROM GETTING ROBBED now, because you’ve everything online, from your pan/Adhar card  number to your bank account password, EVERYTHING is accessible through your thumb then who in this world will be able to rob or hack any information about you. Most of the time we have stopped using actual money because we are paying through our virtual wallets.
Also the most important thing that everyone loves in digitalization is that now we can be in touch with our old friends whom we left in the schools and colleges through social media platforms. Yes, this contributing advantage can be harmful and terrifying for us mentally but if we use it carefully and in limit then it’s surely not.
So as we know (many of us don’t, they can google or read this blog) that if we will count the advantages and disadvantages of digital India then this listing could be endless. I know I’ve barely mentioned disadvantages and I’ve a reason for that. First I want my blog to be positive and second, I personally feel if everything will get digitalized then it’ll be tough to point out the disadvantages because then everything will be very easy to handle, just by your thumbs and gadgets.
There’re still a lot of questions left to cover which includes what is the main purpose of Digital India? I would like to answer that very briefly as it is really easy to understand. So basically it aims to provide e-governance, public internet access program, broadband highways,  electronic delivery of services and many more things.
Yeah, I know it sounds super fascinating that how everything will get so easy to access one day and that day you’ll wish to thank that person who introduced digitalization to India, who started and wanted this Digital India thing to get started ASAP. Yes you’re right. One day everyone will be thanking our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi who introduced Digital India to us and I’m very sure that it’s literally a nice idea (no, I’m not promoting BJP or Modi ji here). I’m sure because by the time this techy generation will grow up, we’ll be having everything served on our plates.
Let’s just concur this fact that digitalization is the main contributing element for improvisation of India. To conclude this stubby blog I would love to request that we should try to digitalize as much as we can. Like off course there’s no harm for doing this. So when there’s no harm then why shouldn’t we step ahead to make this whole country digital. Look we can save trees too, less paper to print money, more trees saved (one more advantage it was, YESSS). Yeah so that’s all for this topic. Again hoping that India gets digitalized ASAP.
