Boring Nikkari vs Nikkari 2.0, who will win? 

It will be almost 4 years since I have started my Tumblr blog, and while there were many hiatuses (sorry), I took the time to expand on my skill. Here’s a small comparison with one of the artworks which I used to adore and the same thing redrawn now. (except maybe the balloon degraded)

“Yagen loses three rolls of bandages every time he initiates Shinken Hissatsu”  Based off the prompt, [bandages] from @tkrb69min on twitter, sparking a small comic series in which Yagen has to deal with losing all his bandages in battle.  The inconsistencies in the two comics are so apparent due to the time constraints whoops…

Touken Ranbu Sword Meme version 2.0

Had to revise the meme as I felt veeery guilty forcing saniwas to chose a sword they dislike when they all have their valid points. Thus, here’s the revised version with a few minor adjustments.  Can’t you believe it has been two years since I last did it? My style has changed drastically since then...  -

To be honest, when Fudou first came out, I mistakened him to be an Awataguchi sword and became increasingly concerned about the extent of Ichigo’s protection over his brothers.

Also, guess who’s back from hiatus with an entirely different style and a new favourite sword?

Really love your papercrafts! I've made Ichigo, Ishikirimaru, and Mitsutada so far and I love them. Can I request Yagen? I need him to complete my main team boys. Thank you~

Thank you so much! I will get around to as many requests as possible once term holidays hit (around end of March) It’s my final year and I’ve been dedicating more time to do work than draw. Hope you could wait around 2 more weeks for your team! The Toushirou brothers are up next in case you’re wondering!

The new sword; Hyuga Masamune is illustrated by Yana Toboso, the author of Kuroshitsuji. So technically, I am legally obliged to draw him posed like Ciel Phantomhive.

By his side were the other swords of the Toyotomi, and he begins to take an interest in Mikazuki Munechika, the sword of Hideyoshi’s wife. Hi! Sorry for my english, italian follower here! First of all, thank you so so so much for those touken ranbu paper crafts, they are amazing, you are amazing! I was looking for them sooo bad and then I stumbled upon your blog, I have already built some of them and will keep on doing so (patiently waiting for the rest of the Toushirou, if you'll ever make them, love those babies). Is it okay to ask how you create them, like do you use some sort of magic? lol thanks again, much loveee!

Thank you for your great support~ You’re way too kind ; w ; I hope to see your finished models if you wish to show me I’m actually planning on making the Toushirous soon, they’re not too popular so they got delayed. Glad to see you also love them boys. As for your question, I’m not sure if you’re asking how I make the templates themselves, or how I build the models. I’ll answer both! As for the model templates themselves, I generally use a base, and fill in the hair, clothing and expression on my drawing software (Clip Studio Paint). For more complex models, I need to draw extra parts in. I’m not sure whether to release the base to my followers or not. I might give it away to those who ask though.
