An image I've never seen on Tumblr before. I'm unsure of what book this is, but the comment can be dated to around 2010 when the movie Trigun: Badlands Rumble released, in an event that had submissions from a number of big-name artists. The comment is part of a larger text that's archived here (Japanese, untranslated).

Rough translation of this comment I've seen:

In creative works, when I write a "Hero of Justice", I'm never not thinking about that lovable gunman.

Somehow, this makes a lot of sense in hindsight.
