oof looking back on this damn blog, i realised just how unstable and variable my art style is/was. not good!! over the past year, a few of my hand-drawn sketches and pieces have been pretty consistent, so i’m slowly improving. i’m a paralegal student, not an art student, so progress is slow

what’s up, tumblr, you absolute flaming dumpster fire that i somehow always find myself climbing back into, how are ya? i’ve semi-returned from a very long hiatus (if i still even have followers lmao) to mostly find and document my old art (that was created many computers ago and the hard copies of which have since been lost) and to somewhat give an update. i’m in college and working so i don’t have a lot of free time, but i hope to once again use tumblr. after i archive my old art, i’m gonna try to scrub this goddamn cringe microblog and start anew :) again :’)

My technique for making runes has improved a bit since I last made them (with glass fishbowl marbles and sharpies about ten years ago, lol).

These are made from translucent Sculpey with ground clove, thyme, peppermint, and gold microbead inclusions for a faux-stone look. Photos are as follows: before baking, after baking with one coat of gold paint, and then finally a second coat of gold paint and gloss sealant. Overall I’m quite pleased with them.

Winona Ryder is really out here giving interviews saying she may have “over acted” as her character Joyce Byers since she hasn’t gotten any nominations for awards since the show premiered, after she spent the last 3 years chugging water bottles on set to stay safely hydrated because she would have to be sobbing for 10 hours a day and I just seriously want to make a new awards show and nominate her 10 different times because she fucking deserves it
