a/n:  ngl i had a rough time writing this one, so i hope this is at least somewhat what you were asking for?? i kinda based it off of my relationship with my little brother lol

➯  you loved doting on your baby brother

➯  often helping your mother feed and change him

➯  watching him grow up and begin skating was a joyful experience for you

➯  you love supporting your little brother in everything he does

➯  you took care of him every time he got hurt

➯  you helped him keep up on his studies as he started entering competitions, etc.

➯  the two of you were the best of friends, telling each other everything

➯  when he comes home one day, distraught over something that happened at his skate practice

➯  you knock on his bedroom door, only to get a muffled “go away” as a response

➯  your heart breaks just a bit thinking about him hurting :/

➯  deciding not to push the issue too much, you make him his favorite sweets to leave by his door. you shoot him a short text to let him know: “hey bubs, check outside your door. love you <3”

➯  you hear his door creep open; a few minutes later there’s a soft knock on your door with a soft “y/n… can i come in?”

➯  you can hear his voice slightly break towards the end of his question

➯  flinging yourself towards the door, you open it. immediately being engulfed in a hug from the small boy

➯  he notice him shaking lightly, clutching to your shirt, lightly wetting it with the tears falling down his cheeks; breaking your heart even further

➯  at first you just attempt to sooth his sobs

➯  rubbing relaxing shapes onto his back, and coaxing him into telling you what’s wrong

➯  eventually he stops crying enough to tell you the problem

➯  he tells you how his friends practically “broke up” with him

➯  sorry i literally don’t know how else to phrase that lmao

➯  you ruffle his hair a bit, dousing him in compliments and reassuring words

➯  he may have lost some slimes in his life,

➯  but he knows that he’ll never lose the person who’s most important to him
