Is it just me or was Abed like Annie's first real friend like I don't really think she had any in high school or any from rehab and then he was the first out of the study group to really be nice to her and like say he was her friend where as everyone else kinda saw her as an annoyance.

he is also just the first one to be nice to any of them but i just feel like it was more important to Annie given her past and her reaction.
