Tykables Soggers Adult Diaper Review

So normally in these reviews when I show these product shots first I do have two of them to show off and I did buy two of them for a sample from the site for this review but unfortunately I didn't realize I hadn't taken photos yet when I had already put one on so the photos are just of the one this time.

So of the new Tykables releases this is the one I wasn't sure I was going to try since Tykables seemed to indicate that they weren't doing sample packs anymore and I wasn't going to be willing to buy a whole pack of these.

Tykables seemingly added the option to get samples of these really briefly around the time that Camelots were released and so I jumped on the chance to get a sample pack and that option seems to have disappeared from that site again.

The other reasons I didn't think I'd be doing a review on these is because I had already committed to getting a full pack of Tykables new cloth-backed release, the Purrfect Cafe ones and I did not want to commit to doing the same for these because honestly... I just immediately did not like this design from the first moment I saw them.

I've been harping on it a lot on this blog but I'm already a little hesitant about yet another cloth-backed, positionally printed ABDL diaper design. But I was at CAPCON when Tykables unexpectedly unveiled the Purrfect Cafe and these for sale so I got first glance at them. And even though I wasn't a huge fan of the Cat Cafe themed diapers right away either these just automatically confused me.

For one thing, it's not a design that they had previously shown in the design phases on their website or social media. It just seemed to come up unexpectedly and seems to be a Super Smash Bros. style mashup of some of their other designs and characters.

The titular Soggers are the little blue liquid aliens who are the mascot for Tykables line of stuffers. The little human characters seem to be done in the same art style as the Purrfect Cafe diapers. And the little green gremlins are from Tykables Potty Monsters series of diapers.

I understand it must have seemed like a fun idea to mash up all of these characters onto a print, but it looks immediately jarring just because, all of them are depicted in different art styles, and it all looks a little incongruous.

I don't have the unique packaging that packs of these come in but if you look at pictures of the packaging it depicts a battle scene between these characters as well but it looks disjointed. Like they're obviously all just images dropped onto a background.

If I haven't made it clear already I really don't like this diaper aesthetically.

The back just depicts a single, larger image of one of the Soggers characters, and the rest of the diaper has a vaguely military looking spacesuit design which briefly led me to think this might have been meant as a replacement for the supposedly upcoming Galactic diapers that Tykables has been planning but those are supposed to still be happening anyway.

With that said though, it just leads to the question of why would this be a new diaper design for Tykables? Especially since they still are supposed to have another three diaper designs that are still unreleased.

In terms of performance they are good diapers and exactly what you'd expect from Tykables other premium, cloth-backed ABDL disposables. But... because of that I mostly just judge these things based on appearances and the appearance of these is just bizarre and ugly.

Tykables Camelots (NEW!) Adult Diaper Review

The Tykables Camelot diapers have always been a favorite mainstay for me. It may not be my perfect diaper aesthetic but I always loved that Tykables had at least one design that fit the bill of all-white, plastic-backed, with a design on the tape panel, which I always love. Not to mention that they were thick and comfortable like all of Tykables products.

As such, I was kinda surprised to see that they had done a redesign of them, as I didn't really feel like the Camelots needed a redesign at all.

Now, after having gotten a closer look at them I feel like I'm pretty satisfied with it.

The original design of the Camelots was just cute dragons in a vaguely medieval fantasy setting. Now though they've decided to give them a little more variation and personality.

Also, they've decided to move the aesthetic more towards a Dungeons & Dragons, or tabletop fantasy RPG sort of theme and I absolutely love that. I'm a huge DnD/TTRPG fan and having another diaper that goes with that theme is a lot of fun for me personally.

Now each of the little dragons is meant to have a different party role/class to go along with their design. As far as I can tell we've got either a Cleric or Paladin, a Monk, a Fighter, a Wizard, and either a Rogue or Ranger.

The unique packaging has also been updated to show a scene with all of the little dragons playing together in a treehouse castle which is very cute. My one question with these characters is why do all of them seem to have real weapons except for the Fighter who's stuck with cardboard equipment?

Now of course I always love the all-white aesthetic with a tape panel design however I think it would be cute if there was just a very small and subtle detail on the white plastic to offset things just a bit. Maybe a single rune, or a really subtle fade-when-wet design.

Functionally, these diapers are equivalent to Tykables other premium plastic-backed options. However, I will say that the feel of the outer plastic is a very smooth and pleasant outer texture, which might not be the case with some of the printed, plastic-backed options.

Fit and feel and absorbency are all excellent, however, part of me does kind of wonder if Tykables might be getting a little thinner in the modern day? Maybe that's just my perception given how spoiled ABDLs are for diaper options nowadays.

Eventually, I do want to do some more objective and scientifically useful experiments and comparisons between ABDL brands like I've seen other diaper reviews do. For now though, this is just my subjective thoughts every time I manage to get my hands on a new pack of diapers.

Overall though I'm still a huge fan of the Tykables Camelots after the redesign and if I can manage it these will definitely still be a mainstay of mine going forward.

Tykables Purrfect Cafe Adult Diaper Review

Ok, I said I likely wasn't going to be reviewing the new Tykables designs but a few things got me. I was out of diapers and Tykables released a redesign of the Camelots which I really wanted to try so I decided to get a bag of these as well.

Between the two new cloth-backed Tykables designs I kinda think this is the more visually appealing of the two so I decided to get this.

Like all of the Tykables products this features unique packaging as well which is always nice to see and I happen to have a full pack of these so I was able to get a couple pictures of the packaging.

Now the main things I usually talk about in these diaper reviews is aesthetics so I'll go ahead and get the functionality of these out of the way now.

These are premium ABDL diapers with a cloth backing and velcro tabs. If you're familiar with the similar products from Tykables, the feel, fit and absorbency of these will be the same.

I didn't have any issues with absorbency or fit or the tapes while I wore these and I feel like all of that worked out pretty well.

I've talked before about not liking cloth-backed disposables before and I'm a little disappointed that so many of the new designs from ABDL companies seem to be cloth-backed but I'll admit it seems to fit the cozy aesthetic of this diaper.

Now, to talk about the aesthetics. I've said it before but I'm a little disappointed that the new trend for ABDL diapers is cloth-backed and velcro tabs. I don't 'hate' it necessarily but I just wish it wasn't becoming the new standard. Also, although I do like positionally printed diapers as well I feel like it's being a little overused nowadays. And these diapers are positionally printed as well.

The front features one of five prints depicting character interacting at a cat cafe and the back of the diaper shows a different scene of the characters together.

Otherwise the diaper is covered in pink polka dots, pink and green stripes and an orange stripe on the waistband.

Now, even though it seems a little odd and maybe wouldn't have been the first thing to occur to me I do think that a cat cafe is a pretty cute idea for an ABDL diaper theme.

It's just a unique location that lends itself to all of the cute and cozy aesthetics that ABDLs love.

However, I think I need to address the elephant in the room when it comes to this diaper, which is that generally depicting actual human characters on an ABDL diaper is usually seen as off-putting and a bit of a taboo.

To be fair, the art style that the characters are depicted in is very heavily stylized. Chibi-esque maybe? It reminds me of a particular toy/doll brand that I vaguely remember from childhood but can't remember any details about or what it's called.

But in general, ABDLs are usually pretty against the idea of depicting actual people on diapers. The only other attempt I can think of where this was suggested was a possible Bambino design that quickly got shut down from backlash from the community.

I know that not depicting human characters means that companies are more likely to use animal characters instead, and I've talked about not liking all the furry themed diapers before, but my problem with animal characters on ABDL prints is the furry aesthetic, not animal characters in general.

Overall, if you like this aesthetic I can definitely recommend the diaper but I just can't see the majority of ABDLs embracing this design choice.

Seeing the way the AB/DL community has grown over the years is doubtlessly astonishing. I remember the shame I used to feel in being an AB/DL and being so upset that I had no control over liking diapers and wanting to be little. I went through the binge and purge cycles, ridding all my desires and ignoring my little mode needs for weeks …then once anxiety took over I caved and indulged my interests, this behavior only led to even more self hate. With the acceptance and support in the community I learned that accepting who I am and healthy balance is key to being happy. I discovered I need my little time to keep my anxiety attacks at bay and that it is my main way to recharge and take on the world again ❤️

Now I am grateful that this kink has landed me the most amazing life partner @mommys-munchkin , even discovered I completely love being a Mommy and need it as much as being little, if not more!

I love this community and the friends I am making ❤️ I hope to continue to make even more ❤️
