- also KILLER POWER COUPLE VEGASPETE RULING THE CITY

- protective Vegas

- jealous Vegas (you better not cross him huh) 

- more protective killer mode Pete (and Vegas proudly whitnessing it)

On Kinn’s ending

I have seen people say that this was a sad ending or a “false happy ending” for his character arc, and I’m going to try and express why I very much disagree with that.

It’s true. Kinn didn’t choose this life. As the second child, he had dreams once. Dreams that are now ironically being lived by Kim. But I want to emphasize one thing clearly: when Tankhun had his incident, that path became lost to him permanently. He can’t leave his family behind and he would never do anything to hurt them (like faking his own death to escape). Sure he thought about staying lost in the forest, but it was just that. A thought. (Will get back to his feelings in the forest in a bit.) He has a complicated and unhealthy relationship with his father, sure, but he does love him. And he loves Tankhun. He cares about his people. So he can’t just vanish. But that has always been Kinn’s tragedy. And it was never going to magically go away. The irrevocable fact that he lost his childhood dreams for good. And as much as it makes my heart hurt, I like that about him. That he cares about his family. That he’s a responsible person.

VegasPete: 5 Sleepy Moments Post-Show

— 01

When Vegas wakes up, his arm doesn’t. For a panicked second, he wonders if the bullets did more damage than initially thought, but when he opens his eyes he sees the actual reason. Pete’s head is lying on the numb arm, the man deeply asleep, as quiet snores are barely heard throughout the room. Vegas looks around and finds Macau gone, probably back at school now that Vegas is almost set to go home. He looks back down at Pete and hesitates only a moment before he reaches over with his still functioning hand to gently card his fingers through Pete’s soft hair. He still can’t quite believe that he has this. That he has Pete. No… not has. That Pete chose him.

He watches him nuzzle into Vegas’ arm, a soft sigh escaping as he is slowly roused from his sleep. Vegas lets himself smile as he continues to wake Pete.

I really appreciate the shift in Vegas’s persona after Pete left, especially in his conversations with Porsche. You could tell that his expressions were genuine, hurt, and open. There’s no reason to manipulate anymore; he’s just a sad, broken boy. Bible executed that change so well.
