 Aaron pulled into the bustling New York traffic, although luckily it was considerably less packed then normal because of the snow. He glanced sidelong at her, gauging her reaction. He found it rather hard to considerate on driving, with her sitting next to him, looking so...different then she normally did. It wasn't that she wasn't beautiful all the time, because she was, it was just that with her dress and the bit of blush that lined her cheeks, she looked so.....innocent. 

"I told you," His lips formed a smirk, taking his eyes off the road for just a split second to glance over at her once more "It's a surprise" Aaron moved his eyes back to the road. He'd actually spent hours a few nights ago planning this. She wasn't an average girl, and she didn't like normal things. So of course he couldn't have just taken her to dinner and a movie. He wanted to impress her, and he had just the thing to do it. "Oh trust me, it's gonna be great." He said confidently. . 

Between the Two of Us || Juliette and Aaron

  Juliette let the smile curl at the tips of her lips, the girl shifting herself comfortably in Aaron’s car. Taking in her surroundings, she finally snapped back into reality, the smile still there. Maybe she blushed, she wasn’t sure, but she could feel it. “Thanks.” Her voice was soft, almost innocent. Compliments always warmed her up, especially if the compliment was mean’t, not just something to say. “You look great too.” The Peri licked her lips, her back against the seat. The caramel eyed girl watched as the car left the sight of her townhouse. She hated there, thank god for this.. date. She felt a shiver run through her at the thought of a real date. She’s never been on one of those that didn’t involve sex. Maybe they’ll end up in bed? It wouldn’t be shocking. Shaking her head, clearing her thoughts, Juliette looked over to Aaron.

“So,” She said, “Where are we going?” Jules raised an eyebrow towards the warlock, taking his figure in the process. She couldn’t help to think he was perfect. Well, if you were male, sometimes female, and you looked hot, you were pretty much perfection. But seriously, Aaron had this thing to him that made Juliette’s eyes spark up. It was scary. It scared her more then anything. She never felt anything towards anyone. No matter how many times you’d end up in bed with her, nothing, besides the feeling of successful pleasure. Again, she shook her head. What was up with the day dreams today? “This better be fun, because if it’s not, I would have put up my hopes for nothing.” The Peri told him, a small smirk on her lips.

Aaron pulled a fluffy green towel around his waist before stepping out of the shower into the now steamed-up shower. He wiped off the mirror with his hand quickly. The blue eyed boy glanced at the clock on his wall, he had about a half an hour till he was supposed to take Juliette out. He ran a picked up another towel off the rack, rubbing his hair with it to dry. When Aaron was satisfied with it, he walking into his connecting bedroom and headed over the wardrobe. The warlock quickly selected a  gray v-neck and a green outer shirt, along with a simple pair of blue jeans. Aaron slipped the clothing on, before heading back into the bathroom to appraise himself. Taking in his appearance, he decided it would do. Despite the back the fact the half breed normally wasn't one to worry about how he looked, tonight was different.  He had a date...well..not exactly a date. Was it a date? He didn't know. Jules wasn't really the date type of girl, considering the second time they met they had sex. But, regardless he was going to do his best to impress her. As much as he didn't like to admit it, he really actually liked her more then originally planned. 

Heading out of the bedroom, he looked around his living room, grabbing his rarely used car keys from the side table. It was New York after all, so he would walk or take the train most places. But with the snow that was currently within the city limits, he knew it would be best to just deal with the traffic. Slipping a coat on as he walked out of his apartment, his thoughts came back to Juliette. When he had met her, she was meant to the safe option. She was just supposed to be a quick fuck, and then he would forget her. But she turned into more, so much more. The warlock drove to her house, delayed only a bit by the traffic and weather. He parked outside her house, about to get out to go to the door when he saw her coming out. He took her in "Hey," he said with a smile "You look beautiful." The Shadowhunter said sincerely.

The sound of ‘The Kinks’ rang through the Peri’s ear, as she ran her hands down her red dress, flatting it out. Juliette Vanree stood in front of a mirror, staring at her small body. The dress was longed sleeved, and it went down to her knees. She slipped on sliver flats, again her caramel eyes stared at herself. Very small hooped earrings in her ears, making her look innocent. Of course, she was completely opposite of that. Jules wore no make-up, since there was absolutely no point? Shrugging the thought away, she walked over to her bedside table that had her radio playing and turned it down. She wasn’t sure when Aaron was going to arrive. Honestly, Juliette missed him. Not missing the sex, just.. being with him. It was scaring her. “Ugh, stop it.” She mumbled to herself as she grabbed her messenger bag, which held her drugs, cigarettes, keys, and etc. Juliette didn’t like to have feelings towards someone, it was dumb. Becoming dependent wasn’t an option for her, since gaining and keeping her independence was hard enough. Jules took one last look in the long mirror, pushing some hair from her face and turned to leave her bedroom. 

Walking out of the living room, she saw her mother on the couch watching some soap opera.  ”Where are you going?” Her mother’s voice was sharp. “Out. I’ll be home later” Jules replied, passing the T.V and her mother without another word. She heard her mom mumbled something, but couldn’t quite catch it. It’s not like she cared. Slamming the door, she waited outside of her town house for Aaron. Were they going on a date? Jules never been on a date without ending with sex. Maybe, that’s what was going to happen. Rolling her eyes at the thought, a small smirk on her lips she watched as Aaron had parked his car on the side of the road, which was in front of her house. Getting up, the Peri walked to his car and smiled slightly. “Hi.”
