Okay so as those of you who use PayPal are probably aware, PayPal has this new credit card type thing that they’re DESPERATE for people to use.

So I was buying something with Paypal and suddenly mid check out i noticed something that said I was signing up for their credit card, like not asking me if I want to buy it, one click away as if I was about to finish a transaction for it. I scrolled down and saw a “cancel transaction” button, pressed it, and suddenly I was back to my checkout screen. PayPal now has a pop up screen that looks almost identical to their normal checkout screen, which will pop up while you’re mid-transaction and try to trick you into signing up for their credit card. Keep an eye out.

In an awesome display of support dozens of gaming companies are coming forth with support and job opportunities for the now unemployed workers from telltale. These are just 10 of dozens of companies on twitter with these sentiments. It’s times like these where I love being a gamer and in the gaming community. Blizzard, naughty dog, Ubisoft, zenimax and countless others are showing the support that these workers deserve and need and it is truly classy!!!

Yesterday a man came into my work, all scruffy and dirty with a big backpack on his shoulders, and as he was leaving I told him to stay dry because it’s been raining almost none stop for a few days. 

He stopped and turned around and laughed, and then he showed me his new shoes that he just bought and said “I’ve been walking the perimeter of the United States; these shoes will last me another month, rain or sunshine.”

We talked for a bit and he told me about how he’s walking around the perimeter of the entire U.S. to raise awareness and money for the homeless. He told me about some things he’s seen and the places he’s been so far. Before he left, he gave me a big smile, said “God be with you,” and walked out the door with the happiest strut I’ve ever seen. 

He started off in Virginia and made it all the way down here to Florida on foot, and he’s still got a long way to go. He was very kind and very optimistic. 

I’ve never met someone like him before, so I want to try and spread him and his effort here on tumblr. 

He isn’t very popular yet, but I really want to try to spread his word and raise awareness of the homelessness issue here in the U.S., and try to help him raise money for this cause. 

His name is Leroy Bailey and if you want to follow him around the U.S. his facebook is here.

“why do people think spider-man is lgbt+ all of the sudden??” man sorry to burst your ignorant bubble, but people have thought spidey had lgbt+ qualities since he was created. it’s just that when he was created homophobia and transphobia was everywhere and there were no safe spaces to discuss lgbt+ headcanons. fast forward to now, where we have social media, where lgbt+ stuff is finally being more accepted so we can at least talk about it in safe spaces online, and yeah you’re going to hear about these lgbt+ spidey headcanons more now. they’ve always existed, but now they can finally be public.

people who think that lgbt+ hcs and the desire for lgbt+ rep are new sound like those people who think that lgbt+ never existed until the 21st century just bc they never really heard about lgbt+ people until then, when really lgbt+ people have always existed they just couldn’t openly talk about it or else they would’ve lost everything. and if your reaction to that is “why does everything have to be lgbt+” as if this whole situation isn’t a clear example of how for so long nothing got to be lgbt+, how we still really only have headcanons which is a far cry from “everything”, and you’re STILL trying to take that from us and wish we would go back to the shadows, you are just against lgbt+ people at that point
