so ya’ll are excited about the be more chill revival!!! 

here’s some throwback pics to when i saw Spring Awakening there last may!! seeing all the excitement in the bmc fandom has been Nice but i do think there’s some stuff ya’ll need to know. So!! as someone who lives here, and has seen a few Exit 82 shows and has met/knows a few of the actors, i have some stuff to say. 

——————— BMC REVIVAL PSA ———————

1.) you guys seem to think, by scrolling the tag, that this is some professional broadway level revival. 

no. while the people in Exit 82 are absolutely brilliant and their talent is incredible and the theater itself is so beautiful (i don’t want to shortchange that), this venue is not in the theatre district. what i am trying to say here is pretty, pretty please understand this is a local place in a low income area. please, be respectful to the town and people in it. 

2.) this cast will be different than what you are used to 

these people will obviously be different than those in the original production, they are different people. but!!! DIFFERENT is not equal to BAD. please be respectful to the actors as individuals. 

3.) even if you do not like the show, be c i v i l 

do not attack the actors, do not attack the musicians, the theatre company, the theater, the town, or the people. do not take out any anger or disappointment in immature and disrespectful ways. 

4.) moral of the story: 

these are real people, not pieces of meet. we are in a real town, not a fancy district. be kind and respectful.  i really hope this post helped clarify any concerns you may have but if you have any questions, my inbox is always open!!!
