Hi! Do you have prompts for a caretaker losing it when they see whumper sick/hurt/injured?

I have a few ideas, this is a tricky one!

The caretaker, despite the whumper's history, is overwhelmed with empathy upon witnessing their vulnerability, immediately rushing to their aid without hesitation.

The caretaker could have some conflicting emotions - anger, the desire for revenge, and unexpected concern etc - when they see the whumper hurt, torn between justice and their instinct to help.

Maybe seeing the whumper's vulnerability triggers a protective instinct in the caretaker, surprising even themselves with the intensity of their need to care for the person who has caused harm.

Perhaps the sight of the whumper injured brings back memories of their past actions.

While providing aid, the caretaker finds it challenging to mask their lingering resentment and anger toward the whumper, leading to tense interactions. "I'm helping you because it's the right thing to do, not because I want to."

"As soon as I'm done you need to leave, and get as far away from me and my team as possible. They might not be so merciful."

these people just wanted to get food for their families, something as basic as flour, one of the things that the very core of humanity is built on, and israel used it as a trap to murder them in cold blood

evil is not enough of a word. there is not a word to describe what they are doing to palestine. they are bleeding her out, they are torturing her and crushing her and hoping that nothing is left to remember her by when they are done. how can anyone stand and watch what is being done with indifference? how can you watch this level of human suffering, this crime against life and feel nothing, do nothing

Massive fuck you to everyone who is talking about Palestinians as if we’re already all dead and sharing more solidarity with our corpses than us living. “We will never forget the beautiful Palestinian people-“ how about you stop “making peace” with Palestinian extermination. My people are not going to be forgotten because we are going to live. Palestinians have already survived one genocide and have been surviving one ever since.

Do not ever let the idea that all Palestinians are going to die exist in your mind. Mourn the dead, fight like hell for the living.

“i wish you’d been my son but i could not have born a cat like you” is honestly one of the most heartbreaking lines in all of warriors because even on her deathbed yellowfang still thinks that she is not worthy of the kindness and the love that fireheart showed her, and that line is directly followed up with “starclan gave me brokentail to teach me a lesson” meaning she still blames herself for everything that happened in shadowclan even after telling fireheart again and again that sometimes, things happen and it’s nobody’s fault and that you have to take time to heal and process things but she never took that time for herself and while Fireheart proved to her that there WAS selfless good in the world, after everything she still didn’t think that she was worthy of that selfless, unwavering love herself

imagine that you lost your parents, and you will likely never be close to your sister again. then you finally meet someone who understands you. someone who understands the unfairness and prejudice you’ve been facing. then your friend attacks you and says you shouldn’t trust this person because of a feeling she had since she learned this person’s history. a history and family that you share. you’d think that your friend was being awful, wouldn’t you?

now, imagine that person encouraged you to kill a person you’ve always respected. a father figure of sorts. after all the trust this person has built with you, and for the happiness, respect, and fairness you’ve always wanted. you’d hesitate. be honest with yourself.

and now, imagine that you made up with that friend. you got married. and had kids. then you learned that those kids weren’t yours. they were your partner’s sister’s kids. and said sister broke a long-running rule. you’d feel cheated on. you’d feel hurt. you wouldn’t forgive easily.

now, imagine you are in a leadership position. imagine that there are a group of people causing you trouble. they are much more powerful. and imagine that one of those people maimed somebody else, and that person went deaf in one ear. you’d be rightfully angry. then imagine that you made up with your partner, and that partner is now in an important position too. that partner then undermines you and pressures you for kids, and supports the group that severely injured that person. you wouldn’t trust that person. you’d be hurt.

it makes me physically ill. a Palestinian on twitter's last post was about burying their six-year-old cousin without his head. a Palestinian boy on youtube dreamt of 100k subscribers on his gaming channel. and yesterday he reached 500k, but he has been killed in the bombing of the gaza strip. the class of 2023-24 in Palestine has ended early because there is no student left alive. literal children who were the teachers, artists, doctors, scientists, scholars, writers, engineers of tomorrow.

when is it enough? statistics released by Palestinian officials about the numbers of martyred isn't enough. photographs and videos of fathers scurrying to piece together their children by gathering their body parts isn't enough. presscons surrounded by dead bodies beside a bombed hospital isn't enough.

yet, somehow, the narrative they are pushing is conflict between two faiths. it is absolutely not. this is no religious conflict. this is colonization, occupation, genocide. it's systematic oppression of Palestine and its people.

the word peace has never angered me as much as it has now. and it should anger you too. there can be no peace under violent oppression. there can be no peace after 75 years of ethnic cleansing. there can be no peace in occupied Palestine.

peace is the product of white supremacy, they prod and kill anyone other than them but when retaliation occurs, it is suddenly rabid savages, unjust savages...
