Log 2: Light Times
Ciej here.
As an artist I have been feeling the urge to express myself in means other than putting out the usual write up I expected to get in the habit of posting to the Travel Light blog. Call me flighty, but have you ever felt this way? Felt the sensation to switch it up a bit and entertain a new way of functioning amongst the status quo? I often do. This day’s magnificent change of course may have to do with the influential St. Louis music showcase, titled “A Moment In Time” that I attended last Saturday [11/10/18]. It was like a call to creative action for a guy like me.
The young artists that performed were amazing. And the expressed soul that each of the acts put into their stage shows meshed together well to create a good showcase. To be honest, the event was so good I got too engulfed in what was happening to take any photos or retrieve live footage to relay to you (rookie mistake noted for future reference yes). Looking on the bright side reveals to me it may have been a mishap for the best though. I mean, I would very dislike to play an inadvertent role in spoiling a good concert for my fellow unsuspecting show going readers looking for great concerts to attend in St. Louis.
And with that I encourage you to please keep your eyes and ears peeled for the following performers that participated in the “A Moment In Time” showcase. Look out for Malcolm Topaz, Eaiyt, 8infinitii8, (Liv).E, The Nunnery, BLVCKSPADE, and OV (aka Orlando Vaughn) if you ever see any of these names on a show flyer anywhere. Save the date and attend the event. Why? Because if you’re not already aware, there’s a high chance you’ll be glad you made the event to hear for yourself what I’m writing you about at this very moment in time. I know I for sure was.
Ciej out.
