Steven Kazmierczak killed 5 people and himself in a shooting at Northern Illinois University on February 14th, 2008. Steven had been suffering from mental illness for many years. He had attempted suicide several times, one time even overdosing on Tylenol. He had also been hospitalized several times for psychotic episodes.

He was a victim of bullying in high school and he had an interest in other school shootings where the perpetrators experienced bullying, mainly Columbine and Virginia Tech. A report released on Steven later said that he had researched the Virginia Tech perpetrator, Seung-Hui Cho, and even adapted a similar M.O.

Steven was obsessed with horror movies, particularly the “Saw” series. He even got a large tattoo of “Jigsaw” down his arm. He also had a large pentagram tattooed on his upper arm. The photo of Steven with a jigsaw head came from the police file, and the tattoo pics are his actual tattoos.

On Sylvester 2008, Tim Kretschmer called a girl that lived in his neighbourhood, told her that he was drunken and in love with her since a long time. She apparently put him off and did not return his following calls. His father remembered later remembered this episode, saying that during that evening Tim had called a girl and wanted to invite her for a party. The girl actually had a party going on in her house though and when Tim called, other girls picked up the phone and made fun of Tim.

Interestingly, the first victims who were shot by Tim were all girls from his neighbourhood in Weiler zum Stein and reportedly executed with carefully placed headshots. I have never been able to find out if the certain girl was among them, though.

In 2005, Seung Hui Cho wrote an essay that he read in front of the class. It was so disturbing that the Professor wrote him a letter to tell him just how much it upset the class. Here is the essay he wrote, and the professor’s response letter.

These portraits were all made using newspaper clippings. Photographer Harri Pälviranta constructed these using thousands of newspaper clippings. Each school shooters portrait is made from clippings about his own crimes. The portraits were created between 2010-2014. He calls them “News Portraits (School Shooters)”

Pekka didn't even know much at all about life. He was only and barely a 18 yrs old. Still a teenager, a child. He didn't have enough life experience to know that his life would of been unhappy. He was depressed and suicidal. Unfortunately Catherine the gun stepped into the picture, and his fantaziez came true. You could of had a girlfriend irl, a fiance and eventually a wife if you would of wanted.. :'( you would of gotten over your obzession, if you would of gotten ze help!!! I know you could of....

You didn't know about what's right or true, you were a mere child who kept autistically changing interests like sockz. You could of had the potential to be something elze than a murderer. I hope you regretted it during your final momentz in the toilet.. Before you eliminated yourzelf, a weak and mentally ill individual. Only if your unwell state would of been taken zeriouzly, but you were failed. :'((

Isn't it a shame that there's no book about Pecker and his life... In a style like Mother's reckoning. Or anything like 'No easy answer'.. Or like Petrin Matka Myyrmanniin..

But a book like 'Koulumustelmat' is a bit lame, that pissis-Alviina's parts were eh a wee bit lame.

I doubt that Mama Bear won't want to do it nor Papa Bear.. What a shame it iz!!! :'((( Some people haz moved on but... maybe eventually someone will...??
