Madison's weird meticulous tone sometimes gives me the creeps. This is one of these cases. IDK why madison felt the need to talk about that at the end because at that time he was similarly unattached.

I feel like madison would not have taken this example of how formerly enslaved persons could still be extremely successful despite the extreme white-made barriers and challenges, but rather he probably saw this as a justification for his "recolonization ideas" with other founders and self-absorbed "gentleman" whites.

I still find it really, really horrifying funny how many people think that they are going to magic a universally beloved third-party presidential candidate out of thin air and that their revolution is going to sway both the democratic and undecided voters to change their political alliances and vote for this nonexistent mystery person in in *checks watch* the next five months, thus overriding the republican base who has nearly 100% rallied around their one guy for the past decade and show no signs of wavering and, by the way, is also 100% behind funding genocide and various other crimes against humanity along with undoing every single decent thing the other guy has done. Being overstimulated is such a weird thing to explain to people. Like "hey sorry, I'm not mad at you and this is nobody's fault and I'm not blaming anyone for it happening, I am aware this is a part of regular everyday life but I am mentally crumbling because There Have Been Things Happening nonstop for 5 hours straight back to back with no breaks, and I really need to sit down in complete silence for like 15-25 minutes, after which I will be completely fine and can proceed as normal. But if I'm not allowed to have that, I will resort to violence."

Friendly reminder that while it is perfectly okay to not want to watch any of the newer Middle Earth based series, whether it be Rings of Power, The Hunt for Gollum, or even The Hobbit trilogy, etc, please also remember that this will be some new fans first introduction to this amazing, incredibly rich world of stories, don't let your negativity or media preferences ruin it for them. Don't be like those in the past who shamed people who became new fans via the LOTR movies by Peter Jackson, claiming they were not true fans, and how the movies weren't accurate and therefore not worth being praised and watched. Don't do that. Let them be. Let them experience this wonder just as you once did.

Also, not that it is needed to be a "valid fan"; but most all of these people also go on to later read all of the many books based in this world; most are aware that none of these films are truly "canon" or fully accurate, and that is perfectly okay! They can still be enjoyed, loved, and watched, they are also a vital part of bringing a new generation of fans in! So tag your negativity properly and let the new fans be, it doesn't matter what drew them in, just welcome them as you once were.
