I hope to never get so emotionally distant that my first response to someone realizing their plant is dead is "so does this mean I can have my pot back?"

So long as I don't become that emoathically distant I'll be good. I'd rather be "the overemotional child" please and thank you.

#y'all don't understand I've been nursing this tomato plant back to good health for weeks #It would have been ready to go outside in a week #I've been working morning til evening for the last 3 days and when I go home I shower and go to bed #3 days I've been dealing with a coworker lying to me and today 5 cashiers called out. #I haven't had a chance to water it and it dried up on me #I feel like shit and it's not my moms fault but she didnt help with saying that and trying to play aroung by poking my face #and she didnt know why I didn't wanna play and why I flinched back
