LOL 💖im very in tune w other people’s emotions and i really hate apathetic people. empathy is sometimes really hard to find in some people, and i feel emotions very strongly so if people aren’t at least willing to try to make an effort for others, then ew! you’re on my blocklist. but other than that i tend to get along well with all sorts of people!! also once i took a haikyuu kin test for fun and i ended up getting bokuto so. there’s that. but hey IM DEFINITELY MORE SELF AWARE THAN HE IS!!!

i present to you: puppy boy.
the reason he's been so successful at his work in a hostile faraway land is because of his people skills. he adapts to new situations, but is an extrovert and is energized by meeting new people and gaining new experiences. the two of you wouldn't have any trouble being compatible there.
thoma is also well in tune with his emotions. unlike another pyro with a stick up his ass (cough diluc), he is honest and able to express his emotions like happiness and sadness with ease. his empathy is sympathy and he's very compassionate. thoma practically lives to help others, and i think you'd admire that very much about him. there wouldn't be any fights about pent-up resentment because he'd be able to get it sorted with you quickly with great communication. a perfect team, shall i say?
you could also have all your fave fanfic tropes with him at once. being his lifelong friend and knowing all his awkward phases but misunderstanding the way he feels about lord kamisato ayaka because hey he worships her just like everybody else and for good reason; wanting him to be happy and letting go of your precious love for the sake of his smile, only to find out that the one he's in love with has been you all along, and of course neither of you admitted it to each other for the same reason because the two of you have always thought alike ?! hence a cuddle session in the komore tea house, with you curled up against his warm back, holding his hand in front of his chest, both reassured in each other's presence like you've always been your entire lives but now the love is different and new and exciting and powerful and you just love each other so much.
