the rewrite quartet and daddy daae- 2022 vs. 2021! :)

#posting this exactly a year after scanning the original! (right down to the minute!) #the original was the very first time i drew the rewrite cast #they're all so different! :o #meg has the biggest appearance change for sure #she went from sort of like the musical to more book accurate! #erik has the second biggest change and the biggest personality change #he was much more like a classic phantom before i started writing him #he started out that way as mr. e but slowly became the erik we all know and love! ^_^ #while writing erik's last name i realized that the little accent above the first 'e' is on the opposite side of christine's! ;D #daddy daae has the third biggest change yet he's still a sweetie :) #christine has the fourth biggest change especially her dress puffs! #she's still a shy sweetie pie but a bit less shy! :D (sort of like how she evolves in the story!) #and raoul has the fifth biggest change with his hair being a bit different (and being a bit more excited!) #all of them have changed for the better! :D #...and then there's gustave jr. which will never be canon because of ace eristine but hey his name lives on :) #also the original pic's file name is img681 and the new one is img900!!! :o #the rewrite helped my drawing skills flourish!
