Gotta say after having an appointment earlier in the week with a “specialist” who looked like she worked for the reagan administration and whose top tier medical advice was weed is evil in all ways and “tough it out” …..seeing my surgeon for post op later like the way he seems happier to see me every time and he’s so easy to talk to and having a genuine doctor/patient relationship was especially delightful 😄💚

#I have such major beef with doctors I am ready to throw hands with any doctor…..except my surgeon and GP saw them both this week love them #very grateful for both of them bc I continue to experience so many fucking vipers in the medical field! #when my GP joked that she's the only one I've got......I am genuinely afraid it's true #I love my surgeon more each time too idk he gets a kick out of me! maybe in part because of my love for medicine #like how I was excited for the pathology report out of nothing but fascination #he's such a good doctor I think he's aware I'm autistic and yes duh it's in my chart my doctors can see #but my point is that it's not relevant at all to my surgeries with him so it's a testament to him being a good doctor #that he took the time to study my chart and see that and make the connection of like #OH that's why she's beyond just an informed and smart patient she's a nerd bc this is a special interest #and that's why he goes into unnecessary details because I think it's FUN 💚💟
