#the third photo... even seen a woman so beautiful you cried #we NEED to bring those back i can't believe we let colonialism take away our beautiful clothing like that! #my mother (comes from a sa'idi village) said that while growing up women still dressed like that. and recently she went back to attend a #attend a funeral and she said she saw no tattoos no manadil nothing!!! it made me so sad because #i always assumed the reason i don't see traditional clothing around here is because i live in the city which is very modernized #but to hear that even in sa'id this is dwindling... no!!!
