The used titleist golf clubs suitable for a tour of many events
When we choose to play golf, whether for recreation or as a job, we would want to get better at it and maintain our competence as amateurs or professionals. By doing so, you may take pleasure in what you accomplish and feel appreciated for the time you have invested in the task at hand.
How can you then improve your game?
Here are a few pointers from the pros that will improve your game. If you are already an expert or intermediate player, you should think about incorporating these new strategies into your game to greatly enhance your performance.
Straight shots can be easier to hit if you have a suitable grip on the golf club.
Using the left hand rightly you can control the direction in which you would like to hit the ball
Golf stance determines the quality of the strike most of the time
For the ball to go higher, hit with the iron clubs targeting the bottom area,
Practice the swing multiple times until you master it
Count on it to boost your tempo
Hitting for a distance
As a basic rule of thumb, keep this in memory. The ball cares only about the impact. It is as simple as that. So, the next time when you square the face of the club against the ball, have a clear-cut idea about the amount of force that you are going to exert on the ball with the club. You know the distance you would like to hit the ball. You know the type of club that you had chosen. You know the way you have to swing the club. Imagine that arc of a swing and hit the ball with sole focus. The ball reaches the distance.
In this process, calculative minds that are experienced in playing golf many times, would know the right clubs that would suit the bill. That is also the same reason why you should have at least a few different categories of good golf clubs in your set always. If not, then buy from the used titleist golf clubs gallery.
What is the best club?
That is how you will have options to pick and choose as and how your needs unfold. So, how do you equip yourself with a range of variety of golf clubs of different specifications? Is it going to be a costlier affair? The one-word answer is, Used-Club. Multiple varieties are available in the online stores where you may find the most suitable gold clubs that you would want. Seeing the dimensions, and manufacturing methods, you can place orders for your kind of second hand ping drivers online.
Tour of events ahead
The only way you are going to get the superior quality of used titleist golf clubs is by taking time to look into the details. Anything that you pick randomly would never meet your criteria especially if you are a pro player in Golf. Yes, here there is a combination of multiple factors that would come into play to determine the performance standards of the golfers. So, the second hand titleist drivers that you choose, must suit your personalized needs. Based on the tours and events in the pipe line for you this year, choose the right second hand cobra drivers to order online.

Ardglass the Magnificent
Today we said goodbye to Newcastle and The Briers and left for Ardglass Golf Club located on the coast about 30 miles north of Newcastle. Traveling in Ireland always takes longer than you anticipate because there are very few direct routes and straight highways. So we figure every 30 miles is at least a 45 minute trip or longer. Today was no exception!
Upon arriving in the small village of Ardglass, we quickly found the golf course. It was 56 degrees and winds blowing 10-15mph. But what a surprise this golf course was. First, a little background, I mentioned in previous posts about my new best friend, Tom Coyne, author of “A Golf Course Called Ireland”. In talking with Tom about our agenda he made a few recommendations. One of those recommendations was to ADD Ardglass Golf Club to our itinerary. Now I know why!
Ardglass GC is one of the most beautiful golf courses I have had the privilege of playing. The course starts out with five holes along a very high and jagged coast line. The first three holes all have forced carries over those jagged cliffs that hug the shoreline of the Irish Sea. Based upon the course distance you choose to play, some of those carries seem almost impossible. Of course for me, the two back tees were a no go for that reason. For my first tee ball of the day I sacrificed a brand new Titleist to the golf gods, drawing a well struck driver into whitewashed foam of the waves crashing on the rocks along the shoreline some 100 feet below. Would be one of three lost balls of the day.
One of the unique and spectacular features of AGC is that you have views of the surrounding sea from every hole on the golf course. The course, played from the proper tees, provides a challenging but fair test of golf besides being one of the most enjoyable walks you’ll ever take on a golf course. The course is not  nearly as penal as some of the more highly rated courses on this fine island! That’s why, Tom, you know my new best friend, listed this as his second favorite course in all of Ireland. When I come back to the Emerald Island again, AGC will be on my list to revisit!
One of the favorite things Kim and I like about playing with caddie’s and being paired with two other unknown golfers is getting to meet and know new people. As they say, everybody has a story, and today was no exception. We played with a retired music producer from LA, who bought a golf course near Wash DC, and his course manager. Got an invite to come to DC and try out his new club! And Simon, our caddie, was a retired army vet from the UK and now living in Ardglass.
One interesting side note, Ardglass’s Clubhouse is the oldest clubhouse in the world. Built in the 1405, its initial use was as a fortified warehouse for importers and exporters. It became the Ardglass Clubhouse in 1896.
Update on Stats
Score - 89/186
Yardage played - 6079/12,376
Lost Balls - 3/5
No. of Pars or Better - Pars 4/5
Steps - 13,845/28,234
Miles Walked - 6.43/12.63
Green Fees - $130/$505
Caddie Fee - $60 plus tip/$120
As I said yesterday, the pictures I am posting of today’s round really don’t capture how dramatic the views are or the huge elevation changes. And as a reminder on the pictures you can click the lower left area of the picture to get a description of what you are viewing.
After a two and a half hour drive, we arrived in Portrush. Where we are staying at the Elephant Rock Hotel for the next two nights as we anticipate playing Royal Portrush on Friday. Kim is taking a day off from golf tomorrow and I am teeing it at Portstewart. So far so good on the back holding up for which I’m very thankful! God is good! gb

Adams Golf’s Idea–Direct to Customer
By ED TRAVIS
The selling of golf clubs and balls is a predictable process, at least for the major manufacturers. Though each spends millions for endorsement by professional tour stars marketing plans usually place emphasis on where the company feels they have an advantage—for example, Callaway Golf’s Paradym drivers or Acushnet Company’s Titleist golf balls.
A key for the big manufacturers to pushing club and ball sales is establishing relationships with the so-called green grass shops found at every golf course and run by a PGA Professionals plus off-course vendors especially big box multiple location retailers while promoting online sales through their own websites and sites run by independents.
Adams Golf, which had all but disappeared after TaylorMade’s purchase in 2012 for $70 million, is taking a different route to re-establish itself with golfers. They have introduced a club family under the Idea brand name which is being sold DTC only from its website…no green-grass, no big box, no brick and mortar.
Of course, smaller, niche-focused makers sell online but often offer only a limited selection, perhaps just putters or balls. None of the major brands have opted to enter the market with a separate brand and then sell only DTC. For example, Callaway has the Big Bertha family and Tour Edge Golf the Hot Launch line, but neither is sold solely over the Internet.
To add to the attractiveness Adams/TaylorMade has decided to price the Idea clubs at the lower end of the current price spectrum with shaft selection limited to a single stock model though options of steel or graphite are offered in the irons. An Adams Idea driver, a fairway wood, two hybrids and seven irons may be purchased for just about $1500 while the latest from parent TaylorMade, a Stealth 2 driver, one fairway wood and two hybrids lists cost approximately the same amount and that doesn’t include the Stealth irons which could be another $1000. Adams ships at no cost for orders over $99.
An interesting business plan, TaylorMade creating in-house competition. Not unheard of in retail but always to be approached with a complete understanding of how the main, money-making brand will be affected when faced with a lower priced rival offering presumably the same quality though it could be argued performance may be significantly different. The company certainly believes that for a generation of consumers familiar with online purchasing, golf clubs on the web without a potentially intimidating store visit is worth the investment.
Adams Golf was started by Barney Adams in 1991 and his Tight Lies hybrid design changed hybrids forever with its innovative Tri-Sole that helped average players get the ball out of most any lie, long grass or even sand.
The Idea line can boast some of the latest design features and though they may not be as sophisticated as the TaylorMade Stealth still are attractive for use by new golfers and those returning to the game. For example, the draw-bias Idea driver has a carbon fiber crown, an adjustable hosel and sole slot while the cavity back irons are a hollow body construction with a variable thickness face.
In other words, many of the same talking points as any of the major makers competing clubs. The question is can TaylorMade revive Adams Golf with this one-of approach or will Adams slip back into obscurity.

The End of MLR
Tumblr media
A letter to from the PGA of America in conjunction with PGAs worldwide may have sealed the fate of the Model Local Rule (MLR) placing limits on the carry distance of the balls played by elite golfers, essentially those on men’s professional tours and in national championships. The two-page letter signed by Seth Waugh CEO of the PGA, the organization representing the club golf professionals that run our game day to day, in part said, “…the proposed changes could seriously interrupt the current momentum in the game and be fundamentally damaging and detrimental in the long run.” Quite a statement but Waugh followed that with, “We are also very aware that there are sets of data that conflict with the R&A and USA materials. This is confusing and, in our view, needs to be considered fully, reviewed, and clarified prior to any final decision being made. The point in contention is the USGA and R&A creation of the MLR rolling back the allowed performance of golf balls and since the rule is not to apply to recreational play it would effectively split golf’s rules into “us” and “them;” something most of golf’s stakeholders say is fraught with negative consequences. Two weeks previously a memo from PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan used similar language pointing out the MLR “is not warranted and is not in the best interest of the game” enjoying all-time participation. The operative question today is, will the ruling bodies do…stick with the MLR, drop it, or try for a compromise? Or is there some other way for them to save face and revive their relevancy to the game that seems to have passed them by? Heads of both organizations, the USGA and R&A, have publicly repeated the stance that doing nothing is not an option. Therefore, for now it appears since Fred Ridley Augusta National Chairman, home of the Masters, has said they support a ball roll back, the U.S. Open, the British Open and the Masters will play a new shorter ball and the rest of the professional tournaments run by the PGA Tour and PGA the old ball. The distance the ball travels is not the crux of the problem even as pro-roll backers cite stats about driving distance and myriad other numbers. Anyone who has ever played or just watched on television knows it’s scoring that counts and some would have us believe records are being busted weekly. Not true. Below are PGA Tour scoring statistics for the lowest average, the 100th place player and the Tour overall average as well as ten and twenty years ago. Draw your own conclusions but it is reasonable to be of the opinion that the differences are not enough to make game-shattering conclusions such as a ball performance roll back justifiable. - 2022-2023 1st-68.28, 100th-70.47, Tour average-70.70 - 2012 1st-69.63, 100th-71.01, Tour average-71.32 - 2002 1st-69.00, 100th-70.98, Tour average-71.29 The center of the discussion is the solid core ball which is dramatically longer than the previous balls of wound construction with Titleist’s Pro V1, the most played solid core ball, being introduced in 2000. It is generally acknowledged driver design has eked out the most yardage possible within the present equipment rules and any other gains in distance are attributable to course conditioning—firmer for more roll—and the increasing athleticism of elite players. Insiders know the bottom line is pros are swinging faster, giving them more clubhead speed and more distance. Regular golfers, so-called recreational players, according to a survey of almost 45,000 golfers done by TaylorMade Golf showed that an overwhelming four to one do not agree with the MLR and by the same margin are against splitting or bifurcating equipment into an elite category. Additionally, 77% said the distance pros hit the ball is not a problem. So where does that leave the USGA and R&A in this mess they created? The quick answer is out of touch with golf and golfers by focusing on a problem that doesn’t exist. Read the full article

Golf Lag Swing Trainer - One of the Best Training Aid
Tumblr media
You want more distance? More speed? Our Golf Swing Lag Trainer is the best thing to take your game to the next level.
Speed is something that every golfer looks to improve. Creating efficient speed is what separates good players from great players.
Take a look at Rory Mcilroy. He’s 5’9”, weighs 165 pounds, but is the greatest driver of the golf ball we have ever seen in the game. He is able to create an enormous amount of speed using his golf swing not by swinging hard, but using angles to swing fast. The angle we are talking about is lag.
Lag is created when the player starts the downswing with their lower body, and leaves the club head above their hands. This move allows the player to store the energy in the club, and release it at the bottom.
The problem is, creating lag is difficult.
Many golfers who try too hard to create lag in their swing, do it by swinging too fast. This results in terrible tempo.
Timing and Being in Sync. When a golfer swings too hard to create lag, it’s impossible to get the arms timed up with the body. This creates a situation where the player can’t rotate correctly, resulting in terrible shots.
Some players have the wrong idea of lag. They think it’s produced entirely with your arms. This leads to coming over the top and slicing the ball.
Although it seems complicated, creating lag in your golf swing has just gotten easier. The Brand New LagShot training aid will allow you to fully feel what it is like to create and store lag throughout your golf swing.
The LagShot training aid features many components that make it one of the most efficient and consistent training aids on the market.
The beautiful blue, “whippy” shaft, allows the player to feel what proper lag is. It keeps the club head above your hands as you start your downswing, automatically and mindlessly creating enormous amounts of lag.
The high-quality grip makes the user feel as though they are swinging a top brand club, compared to other training aids where it feels as though you’re swinging a cheap product.
The beautiful jet-black club head is what truly separates the LagShot from other training aids on the market. It looks like this club just came from the Titleist factory, making it easy to carry in your bag care-free. No more being judged for ugly, out-of-place training aids.
Our Golf Swing Lag Trainer is brand new, but has already been called one of the best training aids on the market. Don’t believe me? Check out all these golfers who already have their hands on the club

Guide to choose the right second hand golf drivers
The longest club with the lowest loft in your bag would just be the driver. The design of the driver is such that you can use it to hit the longest shots. It is a must for all levels of players whether an amateur or a pro. If you can choose a driver that is good enough to for you to hit distances, accurately in the direction you wanted, then that is your best driver. When hitting long distances, it is difficult to get accuracy if you are not finding suitable drivers. So, take time to find the best drivers from the online gallery where there are multiple options for you to pick your kind of driver.
How to buy the best drivers?
The loft can be the lowest but the iron can be harder for a better driver. Along with that if you are also finding the design to be sleek then that could be the best pick. Second hand golf wedges are also available on the dedicated sites where you may search for varied golf clubs. The second hand golf driverswould not be costlier compared to the brand new ones, so you can use it for practicing rigorously without minding much about the cost factor.
Where to find the best drivers?
The used golf drivers in general are available in different brands, and models. You can choose the clubs not based on the brand repute alone, but by paying attention to meticulous details of the clubs like weight, material, specifications, loft size, and overall design. Usually, the pros browsing the online gallery come to search for their favorite kind of second hand titleist golf clubs. It is impressive in standards even after a few years of use provided if it is properly maintained by the first user. Maintenance is one of the most crucial factors that determine the life of the clubs of any kind whether it is a top branded item or not.
What is the size range of the best driver?
Again it depends on the purpose and the individual's comfort most of the time. Your skill levels and the way you are trained in the game, your gaming style, your fitness and many other parameters would come into play here. Yes, the same size driver can be giving different results for two different professional golfers with different styles of game.
However, on average, 10.5-degree drivers are suitable for the majority of the pros. the loft largely depends on the speed of the swing and the attack angle. So, if your swing speed is less than 95 miles per hour, then the above-mentioned 10.5-degree drivers would be suitable. Some of the pioneers in the game, who are adept in their skill sets, would like to go for something in the range of 9-10 degrees. These players are found to have superior control over their drives, though. To hit long distances they use drivers in this range. If they get the used golf drivers in these specifications then perhaps, they would not mind grabbing a couple of them at once.

Mechanics of hitting the ball using the best used taylormade golf clubs
Tumblr media
When you play a draw or a fade, shaping the shot is crucial as a Pro Golfer. Adjusting the club head path corresponding to the face angle, the player gains maximum distance and better control in striking the ball at the sweet spot. When you are missing the sweet spot then the energy shift is lesser or minimal from the bat to the ball. This could be the reason that the ball would not go the distance.
Comfort and power gained
So, apart from the power that you apply at that point, if you are comfortable using the club, then it allows you to connect better. Most probably you can time it well to hit on the sweet spot in that case. But your comfort is largely determined by the type of equipment that you use. Fitness is another criterion too. The ease with what you are going to handle in the club will facilitate you to strike with the right timing sense.
To find suitable equipment of that kind try to browse through the options at the best place to buy used golf clubs. This is because you are about to find the matching equipment for your kind of swing, stand and strength. Once you found the right combination that would work in your favor, then you can perform to your fullest potential 9 out of 10 times unless any other external factor comes in to play spoilsport. Look at the specifications, reviews and diagrams of the clubs at the best place to buy second hand golf clubs.
Vintage and contemporary models
You would get ideas. Test a few of those used tailor-made golf clubs. It is not only the beginners but also the intermediate-level players, the club players, the pros and even the title winners who are sometimes looking to find some unconventional clubs.
Some vintage designs in the used taylormade golf clubs give you hints about certain features that you can take advantage of. So, the hub becomes your best gallery where you have the liberty to explore many brands, models, designs, materials, and shapes of the old and new kinds. It is a passionate hobby for many golf fans to explore the variety of second hand taylormade golf clubs from the dedicated websites. They find the time spent on this best place to buy used golf clubs to be extremely useful for multiple reasons.
Wrong clubs and the misses
When you use the wrong clubs and miss the timing on the shot, then the mechanical energy transferred from the club face to the right spot on the ball is minimal. The residual energy is triggering the spin action on the ball instead. It means the golf ball doesn’t travel the full distance but spins more. The travel curve of the ball is steeper and higher rather than being a parabolic trajectory.
So, the professional golfer would consider these meticulous aspects of mechanics involved in the ball striking action. If he or she grabs the idea totally, then they would find a way out to extract the maximum out of every other single strike. Learning is important for a golfer not only for performing well but also to select the right items that could give them an edge. Second hand taylormade golf clubs can also give you that advantage many a time.

What Do you Need to Understand about Golf Shaft Adpater?
A golf shaft adaptor allows you to effortlessly change the golf club shaft if you need to join it with a club head of a different brand. For example, an adapter would allow you to take the shafts from your existing Callaway clubs before installing them on your new set of PXG irons. Don’t wait more and shop for Titleist Shaft Adapter right away.
The reason why a shaft adaptor is necessary is that the club head connectors of every brand vary, and not all golf shafts are universal. It’s convenient to have a shaft adapter, especially if you switch clubs frequently. Shaft adapters that you can shop online have been created in such a way to assure that they are compatible with almost every club make and models and make your life so a lot more convenient when you switch brands.
Removing and installing a golf shaft adapter is a fairly simple task, and it’s an amazing way to save a great deal of money when you are shopping for new shafts or club heads. But if you’ve never worked on your golf clubs, it can be a bit challenging process.
Shaft adapters are also known as shaft adapter sleeves, and they can be mounted in the section of your club that joins the shaft with the club head. In absence of an adapter, it’s quite problematic to make the changes that you are required to make between clubs.
If you want to add a new Ping Golf Weight, then you do not need to drive to the nearest store that offers golf equipment; you can buy it online.
The Callaway Epic Flash drivers symbolize a first in golf, particularly the Flash Face which used a supercomputer and machine learning to construct a better design.
The most amazing thing about shaft adapters is that they make it feasible for golfers of all abilities to switch between the clubs and shafts in their bags. It means they will not be required to buy brand new clubs and shafts.
It's true that most golf shaft adapters are interchangeable, but it also depends on the type of adapter that you buy. Nevertheless, most adapters can be attached to your shafts with an Allen wrench, and you can then employ them to install the shaft on your preferred woods, drivers, or irons.
Keep in mind that shaft adapters are needed because not all shafts are interchangeable with other brands. It can make it daunting (or impossible) to bring your existing shaft and set it on a new set of club heads.
Nevertheless, with a suitable adaptor including Taylormade Adapter, it is possible to easily utilize your present shafts and set them to your new golf clubs, which turns into an ideal option if you want to upgrade your golf equipment this year.

TSR Fairway Woods from Titleist
By ED TRAVIS
Three new fairway wood models under the TSR brand have been announce by Titleist. They address the needs of different types of players and all feature weight distribution encouraging high launch with added forgiveness.
Fast Facts Titleist TSR Fairway Woods Open hosel for reduced weight and deeper CG Face-centered center of gravity Stock shafts: Hzrdus Red CB, Tensei AV Blue, Hzrdus Black, Tensei 1k Black Stock Grip: Golf Pride Tour Velvet Available Sept. 23, 2022, $349 Titleist TSR2 Fairway Wood Game-improvement category High launch mid spin Carpenter stainless steel head Adjustable sole weight Titleist TSR2+ Fairway Wood Better-player category 13° loft only Mid/high launch mid spin Carpenter stainless steel head Adjustable sole weight Titleist TSR3 Fairway Wood Better-player category Mid/high launch low spin 5-position movable sole weight
WYNTK The latest fairway woods from Titleist deserve a couple of comments. As was true with the price increase in the TSR Driver, compared with the previous models the prices of the TSR Fairway Woods are $50 higher, $349 versus $299. In today’s golf equipment market that is in line with anticipated changes from other makers.
Note the TSR 2+ has a wider profile and being available with only a 13° loft it can be thought of as a driver with lots of loft suitable for high swing speed players. Also interesting is the TSR3 has a movable rear weight with a design making use of a rail with five positions which means shifting the tendency for ball curvature from straight to a fade bias to a draw bias will be easy and quick.
In the press release for the new TSR Fairway Woods Josh Talge, Vice President, Titleist Golf Club Marketing was quoted, “Our number one goal was to optimize the CG (Center of Gravity), and it is now as low as it has ever been on a Titleist fairway metal. The lower the CG, the higher the launch. We want to get the weight down, so the golfer can get the ball up. By lowering the CG in each model through our Open Hosel Construction, we also improved the overall performance, including speed, launch angle, spin, flight, feel and forgiveness. Golfers want to see the golf ball get up in the air with their fairway metal, and with the new TSR we achieved that goal.”
You’ll notice that the label for Titleist’s new TSR series of non-drivers I have used is “Fairway Woods” though the company has tagged them “Fairway Metals” or just plain “Fairways.” When writing about this type of metal-headed club primarily not used off the tee I can sometimes force myself to type just plain “Fairways” but my fingers all but refuse to peck out Fairway Metals…so there, I’m old fashioned and admit it and at the same time understanding that may put me out of step with many of you.
