#the boiler iron at my workplace broke and has been sent off for repairs and I am pining :( #I miss it so much :((( #until my beloved industrial iron returns I'm stuck with a shitty little domestic one that doesn't get as hot #and doesn't even have a steam button!!! #It's slowing me down a significant amount! #sewing #memes #also I should mention that my workplace does not have one of those sweet sweet ironing tables with the vacuum pedal :( #but my college and previous workplace both had a few of them #it's ok though I really don't need something that fancy for the alterations I do at work #I love industrial sewing machines SO MUCH I wish they weren't so ugly #also the blind hemmer machine works fine and I don't have trouble with it I just don't love it as much as the other 2 machines #not a fan of the very synthetic filament-y thread or how easily chain stitch comes undone
