KING OF ASGARD AU DESCRIPTION &&
TOVE THORSDOTTIR : A KING OF ASGARD MULTIVERSE BRAINCHILD
prominently featuring @symbolstill in this single ship verse .
in a multiverse where hela was defeated and asgard was never destroyed , thor is crowned KING and is in rightful place on the throne despite previously removing himself from being next in line . it is his duty to rule asgard just as fate always intended and he embraces it because he needs to . all of asgard looks to him after odin’s passing . loki has still found his rightful place by his brother’s side just as he would have if he would have not died on the ship in infinity war .
steve has been in hiding after freeing those incarcerated on the raft during the events of civil war . they’ve been in an ongoing relationship since the age of ultron timeframe . a very serious relationship and in a state of loneliness and needing guidance , which is something steve has always been great at , he seeks out the captain with the help of heimdall . there’s more than just the need for help that sends him on this quest . an intention and motivation in something he longs to ask . asking steve if he’ll join him in ASGARD permanently .
the decision is a big one , he knows that , but when steve says that he will they can truly start their lives together and thor can have steve by his side as his consort and advisor . he is much more than that . steve is everything to thor and having him by his side means the world to the god of thunder . by the new king’s side , steve helps him more than he could ever possibly imagine . he’s there to help him process his grief , to aid him in decisions that every king faces , but most of all he loves him unconditionally .
thor finds himself thinking about the need of an heir . one day he won’t be up to the task of the title he wields . every king eventually needs an air , but obvious answers to the dilemma aren’t something thor is willing to entertain . the thought of fornicating with someone else just for the sake of procreation doesn’t appeal to thor . he wouldn’t do that to steve even if the thought process might be understood. he just can’t do it and having someone carry his child doesn’t appeal to him either as a reminder for either him or steve .
the only true option that thor finds is the advanced technology on asgard . they’ve mastered the use of artificial wombs . we’ve seen their technological world and the amount of accomplishments they could possibly achieve . i don’t pretend to be a scientist or know how any of it would work but they have science and magic on their side . they could truly make it work .
and with this technology TOVE THORSDOTTIR is born and is the biological daughter of THOR , but she THEIR child . she will eventually be queen of Asgard . should anyone show their distaste for the idea then they would have two very angry dads on them . she is the rightful heir since thor’s DNA flows through her veins. the little one has her two father’s wrapped around her finger and they would do anything to protect her .

❝Will you stay with me?❞ (from Tove after she had a nightmare)
fluttering confessions
when the god of thunder was a child , nightmares were never spoken of nor were they acknowledged . a future KING never let such things render him vulnerable or fearful . often times , especially during those uncertain years when his powers were coming to fruition , he would sit quietly in the dark under the furs and pray for the storms to stop . not yet realizing he was the cause of them .
they were simply not spoken of , but since he was a boy he’s grown while becoming a husband and father trying to rule a KINGDOM . it is a learning curve that he is still trying to maneuver but emotions are to be faced , not hidden . his father had been WRONG for forcing thor to feel as if he couldn’t share or look to odin for guidance . it certainly is not the case with his princess.
her nightmares are not unfounded whatever the cause may be and the thunderer will do everything to reassure her that she can call on him no matter the time of the night . when she calls , he is there in an instant . even when she asks to stay with her there is never a doubt or hesitation that he would . of course he will be there for her when she needs him most . his pride and joy , his princess will never have to worry about whether to put her trust in him or not for he will ALWAYS answer her call . / / @tove-thorsdottir
