shoutout to the fat figure drawing models who modeled for us in college and also shoutout to me personally for going to the optional figure labs on Friday. so glad I did that now in hindsight

#just thinking thoughts... #I DON'T KNOWWWW I feel like fatphobia is a lot more common here in the states believe it or not #like the line at which someone is considered fat is a lot sooner than in the states I feel #and I think it's extremely normalized especially between family members #to shame someone for being fat or greet someone with 'you've gotten fat!' etc. #and I don't know. it makes me so upset. #and I think many people who are fat maybe had a time when they were skinnier #it's like the middle class for body weight you know. you think you can always escape it and become wealthy #that you can always diet harder or exercise more and get that body type #but maybe it's a futile struggle or something. #grr
