god this post sucks anyway bullet points on total drama death note below:

contestants include light, L, mello, near, matsuda, matt, raye, naomi, takada, mikami, ide, aizawa, god fucking damnit I'm running out of contestants, that guy light kills in an alley to get eliminated first, SPK members like halle gevanni and rester, mafia members, mogi, lind l taylor, fuck it higuchi can compete I guess their ages r all smoothed out so they r all 16-19 or 20 for a generous but plausible age range

whatever anyway light gets L eliminated like halfway thru the season bc he pulls his little gambit from the show where he utilises rem's illegal alliance with misa to rig a vote to kick L out in order to save misa's ass. its CRAAZY

rem doesnt 'die' (get fired) as a result of this though she just has to endure a moderately embarrassing punishment set by ryuk for the duration of one challenge

lights got that alejandro rizz like he and L have got that whole aleheather thing going on. he fucking dies alejandro style too. yeah.

getting into more cursed territory mikami and mello have a courtney/duncan romance.

love triangle w matt obviously. love polygon. light uses mikami but he remains loyal even after being eliminated

I think realistically mikami is so annoying he would get voted out pretty early but girlboss lawyer his way back into the show like slay

the only ones who know eachother beforehand btw r mello and near

finale is light v near but I think matsuda sabotages (unsubtly ofc) light in the final contest for revenge and stuff

naomi and raye get played by light pretty early on but they can host aftermath. for funzies

obviously misa is like sierra levels crazy abt light

like it's soooooososo funny in my head I can't even begin to explain 2 U guys

its dramatic and cringe and they're all soooo serious
