I feel like seeing the Young Wolf outside of their armor is very similar but opposite vibes to seeing someone you're close to who you know does retail but have never seen at work, slip into their Customer Service voice.

As far as you're concerned, they're a commanding presence. Very respectable, very powerful, but clearly a kind-at-heart person willing to help anyone in need, even if they have a colder exterior, but you've never have you seen anything past that-

-and all of the sudden that person's in casual clothes, dealing out the worst puns you have ever heard that really makes you want to throw your wrench at them so things go back to making sense about them
