When Sam is by the sea... Some are casefics and some are not. As always, heed the warnings where the story’s originally posted and please leave a kudo or, better yet, a comment if you enjoyed the story. It’s the only "payment” an author ever gets.

Dean has to find a way to escape the ship and save Sam without getting shot by the increasingly suspicious captain. The sea monster wants Sam to go on board and sabotage the ship – in return for something Sam has lost, unknowingly. But he has to do it before the torpedo comes at dawn. (no penetrative sex)

All he can do is hope that it's not going to ruin the relationship he and Dean are slowly building, and that they'll find a way to make the new situation work for both of them.

Sam gets word from an old Stanford buddy that on a dare for some extra cash he and others are going to stay the night at a “haunted” Inn, but Sam and Dean know that joke hauntings more often than not turn out to be the real deal and decide to tag along. All seems fine at first until the first death vision hits Sam and the body count begins to escalate. As Dean and Sam scramble to find out what the hell is happening they learn a bit of the Inn’s past and with it the ghost’s motivations. Can our boys make it out in time or will they be added to the growing body count in this Inn where you can check in, but there’s no checking out.
